Ok, not poker related, but more forum related.
I see a lot of posts/questions in threads, whereas, especially in threads opened by moderators, all information asked for has been mentioned in the opening post.
I can imagine people not wanting to go through pages of posts to see all what's been posted sofar.
If the thread is interesting to you, you might want to though.
Still, in a lot of threads I see a lot of questions asked, while the answers to these questions were basically already answered in the opening post.
So, my advise....before asking or posting in a thread, at least read the opening post.
Big chance the answer to your question or your suggestion about the topic has already been mentioned there.
First of all , it'll keep the forum clean of repeatedly asked questions, as well as all kind of opinions already mentioned in the opening post, which makes manoeuvring through the forum more comfortable.
Second, it'll make the live of a moderator more comfortable, not having to deal with all kind of questions/opinions which were already more than covered.
Third, imo it's a lack of respect posting/asking questions in a thread without even reading the opening post, as the opening post basically indicates what's the thread about, so asking questions about things already explained there , basically shows desinterest.
For all sake 1 example....
In every freeroll thread in the opening post it's mentioned who are egligible to receive the password and play.
Still about everytime it's asked , who is egligible, how can I get password ????......for all sake...read opening post and all should be clear.
So, dear members, before responding in a thread, please check the opening post first, to avoid asking questions / posting opinions which already have been covered in the opening post itsself....
