it may seem obvious but... i may disagree with you. i'm less disappointed with kings when they run into any Ax with an A on the board.... i feel like i should know better.

Aces are better statistically.
Even though i have a subjective impression that i do good with kings, but the numbers are in favour of aces.

I couldn't ignore your post.
I just wanted to say that there is more to poker than liking specific hands.
It's not about liking a hand nor about how a hand would be kind to you or whatever.
My fellow cc member, this is no sense.
You should look into it a little bit deeper, that's all I am saying.

I always prefer AA over KK although I love both pairs when they come to my hands, you have to be careful anyway, not just receiving them pre flop you are already the winner, it must be played judiciously to give it more value, what I try to achieve is get as few players as possible to see the flop to eliminate the chances that trash hands will hit something better.

AA for sure. Why should i lovelyer take KK? KK is good as well but your oppenent can hit an A and crush you.

In tournaments, especially short stacks, I like KK better. Opponents often call me with Ax preflop.

the truth is that both of them get a lot of value from the bet with these good cards, you should try to get the most out of it preflop and flop

KK is not a reliable option for me, I prefer the more reliable AA hand.
