I tend to drink beer while playing. While I try to keep it in moderation, I must confess that in one tournament, while doing fairly well, I actually fell asleep! Can (or will?) anyone share a similar experience?
In general, on weekends while I play I have a glass of beer or a good red wine.
During the week I don't do it because the next day you have to get up to work and at my age my legs are already getting heavy
Also never played drunk.

Poker is not just playing and drinking alcohol, it is also about taking out accounts and having a lot of prohibitions to win at many tables with different players.
I think a beer or two will still fit in, because it relieves the tension a little. But I don't think more than that would be good, especially during a longer race.
But it is also true that beer makes you sleepy...
I don't, I only drink beverages like coffee to keep me awake in the long sessions I have at night, but I think alcohol is a bad idea, it shouldn't be done if you don't make bad decisions.
Hi all!
Alcohol can play badly with concentration - it is terribly reflected in the results.
It is better to get rid of what can interfere with success in the game)
I do not recommend at all consuming alcohol while playing poker, it is practically the same as drinking alcohol while working or driving a car, alcohol and gambling cannot be combined, because you can easily lose control, your senses will never stay the same. Therefore I recommend not to consume alcohol while playing poker.
I don't play poker while drunk. This is incompatible with the game. You can drink some beer. You shouldn't be in a bad state while playing poker because you won't be able to react properly and make the right decisions.
Very, very rarely, alcohol dulls intuition and thinking, makes you liberated, which often leads to wrong decisions and poor play. Sometimes I can hang out and have fun with my fun friends in a relaxed atmosphere. If I play for results but not.
