Antoine Saout - 11,135,000
Kevin Schaffel - 11,245,000

Ivey with position on chip leader. Could be fun :)

And fwiw, it doesn't matter who wins it, it's not gonna make a HUGE difference. Whoever takes it, there won't be another Moneymaker effect. A woman getting on the final table should be handy though.

So gogogogogogo Ivey, chewy and pretty lady :)

Matusow looks like he'll be making some money off the series. Or at least breaking even, I don't know if he played or if he made the money. But he's got $1000 on Ivey at 100:1 to win, and at 10:1 to make the final table.

Matusow had a pretty bad series. I believe he only cashed once. This would definitely help get him back up.

Ivey winning would be awesome for poker exposure and the whole legislation thing in america for the fact its a skill game arguement. Since moneymaker, amateurs/boring internet pro's winning has done nothing for the game, so Ivey or the chick winning can only make things better

Anyone have an update on chipcounts? The only website i can view at work (strangely, but luckily) is CardsChat, so I have to get all my WSOP realtime updates via this thread.

Edit: Just looked at the time, 11:21 AM, meaning 9:21 AM vegas time, meaning they probably havent started play yet for today. Duh.

How about just updating when they start play? :)

I might head over there today - I just wonder how difficult it will be to get some good pics.

I am pulling for Ivey and Antonio to final table.

I'll try and throw some updates up for you. It starts at 3 PM Eastern/2 PM Central/Noon Pacific.

Of the 27 remaining, 4 are shortstacked around 10-15 BBs, so we will probably see a few quick eliminations and then it will probably tighten up.

Much appreciated.

So weird, my IT watchdog blocks almost all websites (even foxnews) but they didnt block CardsChat. I run goot.

Im probably going to get fired though for logging about 2 hours a day on this website while im clocked in lol.

I used to work in a place like that. You know how you get around it? Leave the browser open on the site for 8 hours, yet still do your work. Then you can say it was an accident and you couldn't possibily have been on it for 8 hours and finishing your work at the same time. :D

Also, since I doubt the mods would want me to copy the entire Pokernews blog here, I'll keep the updates limited to anything involving Ivey, Esfandari, and bust outs. And I'll only be able to throw them up for about 2 hours.

My three big picks for the final table are still Phil Ivey, Antonio, and the trucker Denis Phillips. I think that the ME will be down to 18 people in less that 3 hours from them starting the day, and down to the final 10 in 8 hours. I want to see a pro win it all, GL to all remaining at the ME.

You might want to rethink your 3 picks. Dennis Phillips was out in 45th place.

If Phil Ivey wins the ME, will he take down PotY as well?

Smith Strikes at Ivey in First Feature Table Hand

Jordan Smith made it 275,000 to go from the button and Phil Ivey called from the small blind.

The flop was
