What should i play with a $6-$10 bankroll on pokerstars
Yeh personally i would advise not to take shots at tournaments, too high variance and the 10C/25C tourneys are total luck fests anyway. If i was you id take your $10 and sit at 3-5 0.01/0.02 tables a day with $1-$2 on each table, play a nice 1hr-2hr session, youll be surprised at the profit after a few days...Good luck with your bankroll
Also, PattyR's advise is terrible imo, dont blow your whole roll on 1-2 tourneys, its high risk, and the profit isnt that great if your gonna play HU tourneys. Id say work your way up to $30 before you play any type of tournament....GL
It does not take a year to get $10 to $20 at .01/.02 tables. I started with $20 in July and played 2nl and now I have $180 and about to move onto 10nl when I get to $200. If he takes his shot and loses then he has nothing. If he is willing to just deposit then he should be putting a bit more in, but if this means back to freerolls then the best option is indeed the 2nl tables. It isn't fast but in a couple months you can have a nice roll going and you'll have learned a lot. Taking shots early just teaches you bad management of funds, something that is hard to get rid of.
are you serious?? how the f%k is this terrible advice??? i told him he should take a shot with it..you cant follow any proper BRM with $10...why would u sit at 3-5 tables when most beginners cant even focus on more than 1??.....i think your advice is shit imo...unless you wanna spend 1 yr growin your $10 to $20

Shortstack $25NL IMO.
Your advice is terrible because its an extremely high variance way to play....If he cant play 3-5 tables, then play one, it will not take a year to double his roll dumbazz, my advice was not shit, yours was... :deal:
