That reminds me of something. Decades ago I found a £10 note in the centre of Leeds. I told someone that was bad luck. He couldn't understand until I said for the person who lost it. Poker is a zero-sum game, especially cash games. If you sit at the table long enough, the rake will eat everything and everyone.

Just another hand in the sea of possibilities of poker.
Not effected much by poker odds but it definitely can reduce one down to very little, very quickly.

Well, just to say that for a week, I lost every coin flip, AK/AKs from now on are an automatic fold for me, I can believe the amount of money I lost because of them. Poker gods are treating me toooooooo harshly latly, so when I found this one I was wondering, Why the heck am I getting the lousy end of it!!!

Based on the suits, this is going to happen about 9-12% of the time. So about 1/10 hands a bad beat like that is going to happen. It's bad luck, but there are many worse beats to get upset about.

I only play Texas No Limit Hold'em. I don't like games where more than 5 cards are placed on the table.

AK has some equity vs KK since there are three aces left in the deck. I lost a hand earlier with my AA vs their AK allin preflop. Flop was TJQ. Absolutely disgusting.
