If it's a soft cash games where everone calls preflop I prefer suited connectors and small/middle pairs in position over broadways! Because if somone who plays like that (preflop station) hits an Ace/king and you hit a set/draw, well, you'll make a lot more than if you hit a high card pair on a board that would just scare everyone off. Plus 1 pair hands aren't as strong multiway.

In fact in those types of games I feel uneasy playing hands like ATo/A9o if I can't isolate preflop.

Heads up pots it's obviously aces all day and I'm sure most people will give you the exact same answer, over and over [emoji14]

My favorite hand is AA, but I agree with Aballinamion that no hand can be more favorite than the one that makes us win the pot.:)

72o

Hello CardsChat friends, I am a radical sometimes :D

For instance, I love 72o when I raise from the SB and BB folds

I hate AA when I go all-in preflop and get cracked for whatever. It depends a lot.

But, of course, like all the players who like to use reason and logic to play, I have a group of favorite hands, I like them all equally.
Lemme say I love to play 202 hands, specially when I am on the CO or BTN, those are my favorite hands, 202 hands or 15% range, all the pocket pairs, the best suited connectors, the best suited broadways.
Nonetheless, I never despise the other part of the range, it is very good and hard to play, and I don't dare to say that I have learned to play all of them, but they are excellent exercise:
There are 1326 possible hands to play and in order to make profit we should learn (somehow) how to play 100% range and extract value from combos we never imagined before.
What I am trying to say that it is default, 100% of poker players will play 15% range, so even when we are holding AA, villain will always has some hand with equity such as a pocket pair or a suited connector. AA x 98s, 98s will take it in a low frequency, whether you like it or not: this is why it is important not go all-in preflop too much when we are at cash tables, because many regulars are sticky to strong pocket pairs, no matter board structure, and we can easily defend in position combos such as 98s, get two pair, trips, straight, flush, straight flush, because our hand simply has sweet playability postflop against AA, KK, QQ, you name it.
All the 1326 hands are important, but many care too much for AA, KK, and AK, this is why they end up losing much more than a regular, because they love their hole cards. I do not have any particular feeling for AA or 72o, I play them equally the same and extract value from either case. (and lose too, of course, but the times I lose I end up winning, anyways).

I like top pairs because the opponents in the table don´t know you, so sometimes you raise and they could think you are bluffing and make a call with your hand in advantage

No matter which hand - the main thing is to double the stack!

It is clear that we all always want to play AA-KK or QQ ... but apart from these hands ... I love playing with JTs ... it is a hand that has a lot of potential ...!
