Today i busted my bankroll.

Its funny cos i didnt busted my bankroll playing in my limits, but i busted playing 1~2 Level over my habitual limits and played some games im dont play normally too.

how do you guys deals with your tilts? anyone can share some good experiences, tips or hacks??
Hi friend,

I have the same problems, when I'm not planning my games pre.
I have an excercise book, where I split my actual bankroll to at least 100 games. When I'm stick to these sessions, I'm never loosing my bankroll, only when I'm starting to play on my own, without any hesitation to play the games I like, and that's when I can loose my temper and decide to make some foolish hero big steps, which totally not needed.
So my key for you is to split your money, and do the sessions which it allows. Once you finish your challange, you see how much money you were able to learn, and either withdraw or built the extra into your bankroll, and start another in this way.

Good luck! :)

Sorry I totally missed its the cash game section, but my advice is kind of the same: Give yourself enough buy-ins, and if you know from yourself, that you capable of going mad and use poor BR decisions, try some consideration how many $ you willing to put in, how many hours, what's your aim, what's your results, and see your game and your progression clean.
I'm always saying, if you can come up like you have "xy" dollars to play with, what should I do with them, people on the forum can give you pieces of advice, and If you need it, maybe even specificate to your individual self. Well, first step is the recognition, you let's make those other steps, and profit & have a great time too. :)

I always play with strict bank roll management , min 100x for mtts in buyins , that doesnt stop me from playing sunday million regularly and many big games cos i play most satties into those big games. Its def about brm to get success in poker .

As regarding to overcome about tilt , first you decide which thing in life you like as a hobby besides poker . For me i listen to music or watch a movie to take my mind out of any bad beats , the moment i get big tilt cos i busted just before ft if i dont have any other games , i just close the client and leave the pc area. Tilting is def not going to help at all , and best way to find is have some other fun hobby to go after
I agree with u. When I face a huge bad beat, I like to go jogging while listening a nice music. Keep playing when you get a bit tilt generally is not a good ideia, cos you are more inclined to make emotional decisions, rather than rational ones.

Not all poker players play with a plus, maybe this is not your thing, and this is absolutely normal.
If lose of money isn't the first time has happened, then you should take it twice as seriously for the decision that you will make from this situation.

It is very difficult to break the bankroll if you make a good bankroll management, poker in the short term is luck but in the long term is skill and continuous work and luck is in the background, that's why you have to see your mistake you have made to burn your bankroll, the problem for sure is that you got into a level that you have not beaten.

Dealing with tilt can be difficult, but there are a few things you can try to help manage it:

  1. Take a break: If you're feeling tilted, it's important to step away from the game and clear your head. This can be as simple as taking a walk or doing something else you enjoy.
  2. Reflect on the cause of your tilt: Try to identify what caused you to become tilted in the first place. Was it a bad beat? A misplayed hand? Reflecting on the cause can help you avoid similar situations in the future.
  3. Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness techniques such as meditation or deep breathing can help you stay calm and focused, even in high-pressure situations.
  4. Set and stick to limits: Set limits for yourself in terms of how much time and money you're willing to spend on gambling, and stick to them.
  5. Get a support: Consider talking to a therapist or counselor who can help you develop strategies for dealing with tilt.
Remember that tilt is a normal part of gambling, and it's important not to beat yourself up over it. With practice and patience, you can learn to manage your emotions and make better decisions while gambling.
