I think in a lot of cases you'll have to find that out which times are more profitable for yourself given your location, time zone, the types of games you play and even your style of play. I have noticed that weekends tend to have more fishes who are playing for fun and thus will play more hands but there are also some better regs who have noticed this as well and are also looking to capitalize on possibility of extra profits.

Generally I find that so long as you're mentally fresh you can play winning poker at any time of day/night.

I prefer MTT tournaments and SnG tournaments. In my opinion, this is a better choice than cash games that are more like casino games.

I don't know about the dog track but at the casino I play at you'll get a lot of OMCs between 12-6pm. Usually those games are softer if you can adjust your style accordingly.

For me cash game tables, the best time to play is generally between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. on weekdays, and from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 12 p.m. on weekends.
EU TIME For me it works the best if i play any later i start to get tired and then my playing will be horrible... we don't want that.

Most people get out of work during that time and they might be tired and still play and make mistakes that i can take advantage of.

I think this is really about trial and error. Granted it really just depends on how generally soft the game is at the venue.... for intense, when I was playing live every day.... I realized that all the older people that played very tight and passively played at the Hollywood during the day.... while at the same time, all the grinding pros were playing at the Ameristar.... so obviously during the day I would go to the Hollywood. The game was softer, and I had a better chance of making money....

But then I realized that during the weekends, the Ameristar became the soft game cause all the rec players want to come out and play in a bigger room.... while all the good players want to go to the Hollywood cause they think because of the weekend traffic there would be more fish to play against....

It took me about a month to really figure out a lagistics system, but once I had it down I was good to go....

Depends, Friday nights are always the craziest, I often end up playing super loose and I either win a lot or lose a lot. With my current financial situation daytime is better because the players are predictable and I am less likely to lose anything.
