Just a quick question on vpip pfr
I’ve heard that a 25/20 is the best for 6max
If so what does that range look like or would a 19/15 be better if so what does that look like?

In my opinion 19/15 is too tight somewhere around 33/28 would be my suggestion.
19/15 is more suited for full ring game.

The range of hands, you play, depends on your position as well as previous action. Its way to complicated to cover in a forum post, and you can find lots of hand charts etc. on the internet. 19/15 and 25/20 are both acceptable numbers for 6-max. 19/15 is a TAG, while 25/20 is bordering on a LAG already.

In my opinion, 6max 25/20 is still a little tighter. The table with fewer people becomes looser. The table with more people becomes tighter. I think it's about 30.

Rather, you need to download the stats of famous players , then enter % in the calculator to get an approximate range

There is no best vpip/pfr ratio. You people need to get rid of the idea that anything in poker is simple and can be answered in a simple post.

Go ahead an copi the stats from Linus Love:

You also put statistics of a genius lol. He was playing at 10 tables when he faced Trueteller in NL40k.

Yeah, thats what I am trying to say. Copying someones stats doesnt make you a better player. Study the game, understand the game and than as Bruce Lee said: "Flow, be like water"

Can depend on the table as well.

If tight table, play more Lag stats maybe 25/23
If loose table play more Tag stats 18/16

Remember these are only preflop stats. 99% of people using these preflop stats are gonna get crushed unless they play like Linus postflop

I think that the vpip should be around 22 and pfr around 18, but it depends on your understanding of the postflop game, if you have a good understanding you can open more hands

every thing from 20 VPIP to 30 VPIP with less than 5 points in diference with PFR is good exampler 20/15,25/20 or 30/25 less than that u are a TAG, or lower tham 10 VPIP is a Nith or Rock more tham 30 is too louse for low stakes(untill NL25)and more tham 40 is a LAG or Maniac wathever u wanthed to call him

There’s no “best” range. 25/20 is tightish for 6-Max but could be optimal if you mix in some weird hands with the usual premiums, broadways and pockets. Otherwise your cards will be practically face up. The right question to ask is: “what should I do in this situation?”, not “what range should I use”. Good luck. R
