left.... you always want position on the big stack.

simple reasons, by having position you can play optimally to either extract value, or pick them off with well timed bluffs.

You get to see their actions and lead the betting most often. In general the ball will be in your court more often than not and you will have more control over them then they will over you.

P.S. No need to buy in short, buy in max stack and stack em. If you can't afford to buy in max stack, lower your limits until you have a proper bankroll

I concur. Rather miss 3 or more opportunity to grab a short stacked LAG than to loose one chance of grabbing the entire stack of the big money.

this means you get information from your opponent, and only after decide how to play further... If you sit on the right side from player with the more stack, than you have, this means your first course, and any decision may be a last, especially, if you decided to play
on the whole stack...
