If I wanna play low stakes and try to slowly build a bankroll which would be more profitable? I feel like in a regular game you can try to play the players a little more and you can get in on more flops but in zoom games you might as well just wait for a monster before getting in a pot.

Which do most people prefer?

Preference for me is towards regular tables, or it used to be when i was doing some grinding.

These days more recreational so mix it up a little depending on how much i can focus etc .... but trying to get back into multi-tabling some again.

Benefits of zoom is more hands/hour however it will be a lower wr generally than can be achieved on regular tables .... played about 1k hands last night (reg session + a zoom session) roughly 400 regular (9 tabling) 600 zoom (4 tabling).... bit of a heater but up 500bb on regular tables about 50 on zoom (not so much of a heater lol + some bad plays) ... was fun tho as first time playing more than 2 tables in a while :)

In zoom game you need to play much more aggressive. It has more pressure from opponents. than just a cash game.

Try to play 3 tables regular and 1 table zoom. See how it goes in this scenario.

This is a personal preference. I prefer regular so I can have my HUD up. Even is anonymous tables will keep track while that player is there. I do see the benefit of zoom for some. If i want to play more hands I just open up a new table.

depends on your skill and what you look for when playing. if you look for reading opponents, go for regular tables. if you just want to play gto, then go for zoom

I like Zoom, BUT you have to be careful. There are a lot of guys (and I do mean a lot) who only play AA, maybe KK on occasion. If you are aware of that and act accordingly it can be great.

The regular tables are more profitable. Maybe 50% more profit, something like that. But more hands in Zoom. Maybe 20% more. Zoom is much more comfortable. The swings in Zoom are worse.
If you have time, play reg, if not, play Zoom.

I normally stick to cash games because you can get a feel for the players unlike zoom.

"zoom games you might as well just wait for a monster" If this is what you think keep away from zoom at least next 100k hands.

I think to only zoom with a high bankroll, because it is a more aggressive game.

I would focus on regular tables games, I've found that the spin n go's are more of your bingo players.:):):)

in zoom you get to play more hands due to the fast fold option, so I would prefer playing zoom. To play the players, you can also do it in zoom, just make notes on the players you played with and you can exploit it next time you meet them in zoom

I love zoom :dancing:

The fast fold forward to specific situations where profit is made.
Playing 4 zoom PLO tables for hours each day :D

There's much more to playing ZOOM (FastForward, SPEED, SNAP) tables then just waiting for monster hands (MUCH MUCH more actually... try watching how the regs. play them).

If you're needing to ask this question (which tables to play) then you should stick to regular cash tables as they generally be softer than the others (depending upon time of day, zoom tables can be much tougher).

When I play cash games, usually I play zoom. It is faster and more exciting than the regular cash games. It also needs to be carefull because if you don' t, you can loose easilly! Generally it reminds me the mtts because you change table after every hand!

Zoom is like a fly simulator compared to really flying.
you are only practicing the basics like hand choice, and position choice.
You need to learn to read people to get any where.

I've been sucked back into fast fold cash poker games over the last week, tourneys just take up so much time and few weeks to cool off a pretty bad cash run has done wonders for my mental state. I've jumped straight back into snap on 888, playing 6 max at the 1/2c tables with 50bb max starting stack.

Snap in particular is an interesting variant, due to the lack of hud stats on the table. I've started off by treating the general population as nits on these tables and really just sticking to a basic formula without specific reads, but am trying to expand on that strategy now that I have a few stats within my database that I can look up to see who the tighter and looser regular players are.

These games are very soft on 888. The quality of the field at pokerstars is much tougher based on my past experience. I'm trying to stick to fairly standard 6 max ranges. In just a few days play I'm up over $8. The swings have pretty noticable though.

The best thing about fast fold variants is the massive number of hands you get in and the convenience of it. No question the average player is tighter and you have to keep that in mind, exploit it where possible and get out of the way when they play their cards face up with big bets and shoves.
