I have been doing pretty well in the mtts i have been playing lately, but there are still some things im not sure of and need to work on.

1. Am i right for only just limping in with pocket pairs at the begginning of a tourny, and if raised should i still call?

2. At the beginning of a tourny should i avoid playing Ax?

3. if dealt Pocket JJ's in the beginning of tourny do i raise or just limp in?

4. How do i play pocket pairs in mid/late positions, sometimes i raise and sometimes i just limp in, but usually when i do raise im not sure how much to raise. Also if someone goes all-in EP, then someone else calls MP, and im in late position should i call or let them to duke it out?

5. In mid/late position should i play Ax even if they are not suited?

6. If im chip leader, double the chips of an average players chip, how should i play?

well thats all i can think of right now but im sure ill think of more later.

I have been doing pretty well in the mtts i have been playing lately, but there are still some things im not sure of and need to work on.

1. Am i right for only just limping in with pocket pairs at the begginning of a tourny, and if raised should i still call? depends on the size of the pockets

2. At the beginning of a tourny should i avoid playing Ax? A-K, A-Q are fine, use your judgment with anything lower.IMO

3. if dealt Pocket JJ's in the beginning of tourny do i raise or just limp in? I generally raise 2 maybe 3xBB.

4. How do i play pocket pairs in mid/late positions, sometimes i raise and sometimes i just limp in, but usually when i do raise im not sure how much to raise. Also if someone goes all-in EP, then someone else calls MP, and im in late position should i call or let them to duke it out? Again depends on the strength of the pockets.

5. In mid/late position should i play Ax even if they are not suited?

6. If im chip leader, double the chips of an average players chip, how should i play?

well thats all i can think of right now but im sure ill think of more later.
I'm still having some trouble myself with 5 & 6.

I'm confused
It's really tough to answer any of those question definitavely. There are so many variables, including position, chip stacks, reads on the other players, you image, etc. There is no one right play for any hand. I will try, remember these are only personal opinions.

1) I try to play all my pocket pairs if I can. Mid and large pairs I almost always raise, small pairs I try to get in cheap but sometimes will raise with them depending on the table, position, etc.

2) I almost always fold ace-x with x being less than 10. Sometimes you can steal with it from late position. Ace X is hard because you can lose alot of money if an ace hits. Ace-2 thru 5 suited is sometimes playable depending.

3) I almost always raise with JJ, I don't want ace x, k x getting in cheap.

4) A raise of 3-4 times the BB is usually a standard play. But mixing up your play is good. As for calling all ins, it depends, I am more likely than alot to call with a good hand here because I am trying to accumulate chips and win. It depends on how strong your hand is and your reads on the other players and what their M is. But generally, if 2 people ar all in you want to get out of the way.

5) See above, buty I hate ace x.

6) That depends, lol. How is the table? what are your reads? what are you comfortable with? where are we in the tourney?
You generally want to be aggresive without donking off your chips.

There are alot of good hand analysis on the site, ytou should check them out.

The answer to almost all of these questions depends on a number of different circumstances. If there were concrete and always correct answers to these questions, poker wouldn't be very fun or challenging, now would it?
