what kind of stack you prefer in relation to blind structure?

1-2 dollar blinds and 100 dollar stack?

100 $ stack in 1 $ / 2 $ blinds room sounds too high for me. That means that there are at least 1 aggressive type of player in the room that is not afraid to risk his/her money. That can be good for you but also it can be bad for you. You can win money faster than it is usual for 1 $ / 2 $ room, but also you can lose money fast.

100 $ + stack is maybe an average pot in 5 $ / 10 $ room.

In 1 $ / 2 $ room I prefer an average pot between 15 - 35 $

Depends on what you refer. If you meant the amount of money you are willing to spend on one daily session cash table then it is to high.If you meant this is your ratio to start to play on 1/2$ before you earn some money and climb up to the ladder it's is perfect.

I personally prefer to start with 100BB for whatever table I'm playing...especially at a live game. At live games, you way too often get people putting in monster raises to like 12-15 dollars at a 1/2 table. I feel like I need a little more $ than 50BB to play right in that game.

My vote is for 100 big blinds minimum as that's what I have the most experience with

If it's a soft live game though I'll be happy to sit with 200 all the way up to 500 big blinds. The general assumption is if you're one of the best players on the table, the deeper your stack is the more opportunities you will have to apply your skills!!!

50 BB is enough for me, yet it depends on the players on your table, agressive players can make you win big or lose big

I feel like 100 big blinds is a nice easy start. That should allow me to get more hands in and chase someone with more draws.

100BB

thanks for your comments - i think 100BB sounds like the general fix and live game well above

$200 stack will give you 100 big blinds.
