PokerStars new Unfold game

Has anybody played the new Unfold game on PS? Any opinions?

The buy-in is a little bit too high for my BR so I tried the play money version.

If you folded pre flop, you have the chance to make an unfold bet on the flop with your folded cards and win the unfold pot. The unfold pot is made up of an ante-like contribution from each player plus the unfold bets made on the flop. If no one bet on the unfold pot, it is returned in equal parts to each contributing player.

I find it funny that PS chose to call the game Unfold.
Unfold27 is the nick that I registered on 888Poker back in early 2000's.

Nope and i think so many new games kills online poker it just thins down player fields constantly.Personally i wish speed games would die out as'well.

As with all new PS games, it was created to encourage new play BUT with the added factor of having higher rake than other formats. Look at the Unfold pot rake on the pokerstars website - https://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/rake/

They charge more rake for the unfold component of the pot.

^^^ You could never really label Pokerstars as a site that does things to benefit their customers.I don't know why so many players still play there when the site keeps shafting them.And while you still currently have so many far superior deals out there to be had.I think it's madness for so many players to be turning their noses up at 55%+ rakeback deals on the ipoker network with various skins.It seems no matter what the major sites do to players they are still falling over them selves to stay loyal to the them and give them their money.

If enough people would leave the sites they would soon re-instate the old bonuses and methods.They cant survive on the odd recreational player alone.They need to realize it's the regulars that are their bread and butter.

If sites like pokerstars want to do something to benefit the game get rid of speed tables.Give players bonuses and deals worth having.Put it in all the professional players contracts that they have to spend a certain amount of hands each month playing micro and mid stakes so recreational players can play vs them.Do things that actually mean something to people and benefit the ecolagy of poker.

i haven't tried it yet, but i intend to at least try it although all new ps game are made only for the fish

Tiring game! Unfold pot is only few cents maybe one dollar, when high stakes. For me this game is very boring, becouse unfold pot always is very very low! Unsuccessful due to the very low unfold pot. For me a waste of time in a boring game for pennies 1 blind! Such a win doesn't make an impression. This game definitely needs a correction unfold pot. Imo this game certainly will be abandoned from players! I don't see in this game sense of competition with one big blind unfold pot.

i try but i think its not poker same like power up on pokerstars its just gambling

these new FUN games are brought into attract new fish to their website... i personally think games like showcase, unfold and power up are not good and a bit of a mockery to the beautiful game of texas holdem, liked it when a poker site was just a POKER site, not all the crap attached.. like casino slots. everything is there, like the guy said above, just thins the field.. seems they care more about new players and max rake than treating the professional or serious poker players well
