I have a question for everyone. When you are in a cash game, when do you decide to leave? I am just wondering because I always seem to win money and then lose it in micro cash games.

If I invest 100$ and I win 200$ so I think this is the right time to leave.I always think about the money.I hate losing money.

I just plan my sessions, like 60-90 minutes and I end it when time comes. After I finish my "session day" or I make 20mins breaks and sit again. Also I leave tables when I feel I'm tired or something irritated me and I know I can start to tilt a bit. Next factor which was already mentioned is lack of fishes

if for any reason you start to feel anxious, nervous or jittery, your ability to make and execute good decisions will suffer, so that would be a good time to stop.

You can either determine session time or determine a earnings threshold. The hard part is to follow this when you are easily winning or losing a lot haha

In my opinion it's best to leave after you won few buy ins if not i observed cards start to run against you. I did the mistake to not do like this several times and i lost each time.

As soon as you catch yourself not thinking about the game/hands anymore, you should quit.

Yes. In this, too, there is the notion of discipline[emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106]

I when I play cash games I limit time for myself approximately 1 -2 or 3 hours, then I look when I win money and I stop playing the card and I start to lose then I leave the game so as not to lose the winning money!

Hello.
I play poker for very little time, only 5 months.
For the first month I lost about $ 100.
I decided to stop and not lose more money.
In the last 4 months I'm actually playing only freerolls.

Set a goal and a stop loss point. If you make a certain amount, as soon as that happens leave. If you lose a certain amount, as soon as that happens, leave. Simple as that.

Play, while you think that the game is for you, and while you are in a favorable state for the game, that is not tilt, not tired, etc. games.

I buy in for the max. If I lose that, I quit. If I am winning, I keep playing as long as my concentration is there, which is usually not a prob becuz I never have time to play for more than 2 hrs at a time.

Advice from "The Theory of Poker" by David Sklansky:

"Whether playing poker for fun/living and regardless of the environment (friends/casino) or frequency (once a week/month) our objective in playing poker is to MAKE MONEY! Making money means saving it on bad nights (leaving a game that is not profitable, where we are the underdog) and earning it on good nights (drinking caffeine to stay awake at a game that is profitable, where we are a favorite)."

When you start losing hands in a row and the game gets tedious and better leave and come back later.

Take a break in 60/90 min or when you double up the buy in. When you double up to 200bbs it leaves and come back again with 100bbs.

It's all about each table's atmosphere. I'll leave a table after 4 hands if I notice some crazy players, someone getting way too lucky, or an extreme LAG.

Cash tables are all about getting out once you hit a profit, the only reason to stay at a table once you've doubled up, is that there's a rich fish still sitting there. Always leave, unless there's a really strong chance you will win more. Although, even if there is, you're almost always better leaving.

Reset, get new tables, or go back to work/study.

change frequently

I have found that the best way to play micro cash games is to adapt quickly to the table and be willing to be aggressive if the table is behaving that way.

I usually wait to see a couple of rounds before I decide but start either by lots of folding or just callling.

Usually after I have doubled up I leave. If it's within the first 30 minutes I might play a bit more
