I'll go tomorrow at casino to play live cash game. $80-300 maximum buy in.$1-3 +straddle. I played before already I won $500 but it's a long session, and in the other day I lost $250 in an hour with the terrible hand. My first day I was very loose I played most of the hands, that's why my chips is up and down. I make a good call, bad call, more bluffs. Any suggestion or advice for you guys. Hoping it will good day for me tomorrow.

I wish I could advise you but the stakes you play are a little too steep for me. However, its sounds like you may want to play a little tighter.

There's no one size fits all imo. I will typically play tight until I can get a good read on other players actions, I will push limits to see what they do and obviously watch their play in hands I am not involved in. Then I will adjust accordingly, try not to allow them to get a solid read on me by changing my strategy once I notice I'm not getting called when I want to etc.

Play safe, do not try to bluff many hands, play and poker.

You should get out without big looses safely.

You sound like a very recreational player.

Play with money you can afford to lose, and have fun!

Know when to get involved

I play cash games, 1/2 dollar limit at Jack Casino. The minimum buy in is 60$ but I always sit with 100$. Usually the tables are full, and over half the players have 400$ or more stacked in front of them.

Because of this I am very selective with the first hand I play out of the blinds because it is likely my short stack of chips will be raised every time I get involved, so I go in knowing I might have to go to the limit with the cards I'm holding.

I just enjoy the chance to study the table and build a disguised image to portray so opponents think I am a goofball. Once I build a decent stack I relax and fish with various starting cards.

Find a person at the table you can read at his desperate position and get him for a hand or two. People often try to push you hard as soon as you sit down. :deal:

Rule 1: Play with money that you can afford.
Rule 2: Have a stop / Loss amount
Rule 3: I can't stress Rule 2 enough to you.
Rule 4: Play only a certain amount of time, let us say 6 hours or 8 hours cap.
Rule 5: If you find yourself up 600$ profit call it a day man, it ain't worth losing that or risking back on the felt. You'll be ready for next time around.
Rule 6: Don't go on tilt that is why if you follow rule 2 you won't go on tilt.
Rule 7: Study if you can, play tight, make sure if you get your money in, get it in good. Read the board texture very carefully. Know that your hand is very strong and your opponents just drawing or unsure about his hand.

Good advice here but remember to have fun!!!!

I see it too often some guy read every article on the Internet and spews off his bro logic and math.

Dude just have fun and see if you can learn from the session. Write down some cool hands and take pictures to share with CC community for proof ☺☺

I hope you crush it man! Win some bro!

the "typical" strong play at a live low limit cash game is be very tight with your starting hands, but when you do play to be string and force the action. You will find that live games have tons of fish who will call you down with garbage.

patience is fundamental to rest your skills at the table and intuition read to the players who are with you not to do slow play:dancing2:

Money management, know the table and watch your opponents, be patient and look for opportunities; playing every hand is likely to end your game sooner than later. GL and have fun.

Have fun at the tables. Maybe tighten up a bit at first and get a read on the other players at the table.

Live cash game strategy

In all my years of playing I found its best to wait back the first hour to see how all the players play first you don't want to get mixed up early without a really strong hand cause its a guessing game at first pick up information through the entire first hour then pick apart the fish that's what I always do and seems to work out for me!! split the loose agro players wigs off :D less swingy and more profit in my opinion

I would advise that in the same style as online, you recognize and you feel at table only if you identify recreational, at least 1 or 2 at table, discipline and good poker for the HU. Good luck friend!

Yes I enjoyed it so much... Meeting a lot of people, having a conversation with them and learning something new. For me the number one key for having a good profit is patience.

BE PATIENT and when you get a feel for the table understand your opponents habits, and try not to get too out of line
