This is a discussion on I Fold Too Much within the online poker forums, in the Cash Games section; LeakTracker of PokerTracker says my Fold to Flop CBet, Fold to Flop Bet, Fold to Turn Bet and Fold to Turn Bet are too high.
LeakTracker of PokerTracker says my Fold to Flop CBet, Fold to Flop Bet, Fold to Turn Bet and Fold to Turn Bet are too high. Give me ideas on how could I fix this leak?
I thought I play too tight, but no, my VPIP is 23 and PFR 19, but I am too scared to lose money. I just realized when I play sometimes tournaments, that gives me courage in cash games and I am not so afraid of losing money.
So, I need some strategical advice and also a psychological tip on how to be not so afraid of losing money. How can I filter specific hands on PokerTracker where I can see my false folds?
For additional information, at this moment I play 6max Texas Holdem 0.05/0.10
then change your strategy and hit the high-er gear for a while.
Don't be affraid to lose some, you can't win without risk.
Greater the risk, greater reward.
If you're affraid to lose money, don't play.
If you start to changing your mind about your poker game, you may start winning more.
But you need to change yourself, change your game, don't be affraid, be fearless and hit it hard.
You may enjoy it.
I don't mean to play like maniac, all in on every hand with crap and hopping that "any 2 cards can win" mentality, but do diligently and calculated risk.....
Folding too much is better than calling too much. I think lol. I should fold more than I do. Sometimes I get this urge that I just have to see that I am beat even though I know that I am. Something about my game that I definitely need to fix.
VPIP 23 and PFR 19 seems like an acceptable statistic for a winning player, do not worry much about what PT4 says, play your game and if you are a consistent winner the statistics do not matter much but if you are a loser you have to study and improve the game.
