How much distance you need to play and with what win rate to consider the limit beaten?
Different players say different numbers. Someone says that it is enough to play 30000 hands, for someone 100000 is not enough.
With a win rate, the situation is similar. Some say 2BB/100 others 5BB-8BB.
What do you think?

Particularly, I don't think it's necessary to analyze the number of hands, but a technical analysis.

If you realize that your level is technically superior, and you have already accumulated enough bankroll to level up (on average 100Buy ins) then you can do it.

That is, it depends on your self-analysis.

Well I would say that you can consider the limit beaten when you have at least 50k hands sample and your win rate shows at least 10bb/100.
If a player take poker seriously he should play around 30k hands / month. (online)
Other thing to consider is the limit, in general the win rate decrease when the limit goes up, if you play NL2, NL5 you'll have a bigger win rate than if you play NL50, NL100 the competition get tougher at the higher limits.

The distance should be about 100,000 hands. Winrate - not less than 4 bb/100

The player is simply afraid that all this hell will happen again and he will again fill in a third, or even half of his bankroll and will again be forced to restore it for months at the limit he has become fed up with. You can' t let simple variance get in the way of your growth within limits. Luck or bad luck has absolutely no effect on your level as a poker player. Many players are very interested in the world of high limits, but only a few of them understand the details.

reading a lot of articles about the game and, mainly, practicing, as you participate in several tournaments, you start to get experience and practice is the best way.

I don't think distance matters. Play the highest level you can beat for 10 full buy-ins, then move up if you feel like it.

I think when you play tournaments of 10 games you will be in 6-8 games in the final, then your level will immediately become apparent and you will understand that you have begun to play better than most amateurs
