The cash game is a great form of poker to make money quickly or lose too, in the long run your winnings can be significant, this will depend on the time you play, the field of players, the limits played and your selection of hands.

ideal for beginning players and playing top hands like AA, KK, QQ and JJ, and suited aces like AK, AQ and AJ

10-11 hours is the maximum amount of time that I managed to spend at the tables in a cash game almost without a break. The long time of the game is not as important as the quality. After all, there is a desire to recoup in case of losing several stacks. And it sometimes pulls you into a whirlpool. Therefore, it is better to play a small amount of time, but with pleasure.

I mainly play tournaments, but when I switch to cash games, I understand that there is a lot of responsibility involved. You can lose everything in one hand. Therefore, not so long, about 1-2 hours, I prefer tournaments.;)

I think the main thing is not time, but the expectation of playing at the table, there is playing with strong players - you need to look for another table, if there is a weak player, you can increase the game time,,,, if you don’t see a fish at the table, then you are a fish

You want a stable income. Cash is a game for those who want to earn consistently and without unnecessary risk. Of course, in a $150 buy-in game, you won't be able to win six figures and become famous. However, cash is a guarantee of a slow but steady growth of your bankroll. You save your nerves. The cash game is more measured. You will not see the wild tension associated with the ability to instantly fly out and lose all the money, as in tournaments, in cash games. Hone your skills calmly! I play for 2-3 hours 2 times a week. Cash is not a game for those who are looking for passion and vivid emotions only. This is a more stable game where you can play the distance in a safe environment. In cash you won't find the same drive as in tournaments, but you won't be left with a nose.

Hi.
I prefer tournaments because cash games are too difficult for me. Usually, I play 3-4 days a week, 3-5 hours a day. But given that my bankroll is growing, I am quite happy with my results.

For someone who plays poker only during spare time 8 to 10 hours a week (3 or 4 days of 2-3 hours play) for play and like 4 hours study is enough to keep consistent win of nearly 16 to 20 BI/100 Bi and could move up stakes nearly each couple of months.

I've played a single tournament for 10 hours and it's been a while, today I play a maximum of 5 to 6 hours, it may happen that one day I play 8 hours. and in another 2 hours or no hours, it all depends on the day and probable activities that you may have

I've never played cash games, not that I don't like it, I think it's a good option for those who want to raise their bankroll, but I prefer to play the freeroll tournaments, I don't win much but the risk is zero. Good luck to everyone at the tables.:)

After about 1.5 hours, I usually reach a point where the quality drops. Then I need a short break and some rest to get a clear head and a focus again. The best thing is fresh air or something to eat. After that, my sessions are usually about 1 hour long.

Only 25% of players can be profitable from cash tables according to statistics. I am in the opposite group. That's why I only play tournaments.

The maximum amount of time which I played cashgame was actually just about 1-2 hours. Mostly I play tournaments and only when time is short and it's not worth starting a tournament anymore, I venture to the cash game tables. But also never big buy ins. I personally feel much more comfortable with MTT's.:D

Well if you play cash game live in some casino it's ok to talk about the hours of play, but online you have to consider the number of hands played in a month, not how many hours did you play because there is a big difference. Actually if you play 4 cash game tables at the same time it's about 240-250 hand/hour, while in zoom or fast poker it's a much much more. The pro players talk about their winning rates which is how many big blind they win every 100 hand, so the more you play the more you show profits. Example of 10bb/100 at NL10 is a 3k $ on a 30k hands played.

Exactly rasta. Over time if you play +EV hands and thousands of them, the theory is you will finish in front.
