So I am starting to play more cash games online since the closing of the casinos and being in a "Gray state" I am limited to the sites I can play on. The two I play the most are ACR and BOL. Today after my session I decided to rail a few high stakes games. At around eight PM eastern there were ZERO games running on ACR above .50/1.00...checked BOL there were SEVEN $5/$10 games going.
I found this a little odd. ACR being a predominantly poker site would have thought a high stakes game would be running there before BOL. The other thing I found odd is that BOL only ran six handed $5/$10 when every other stake had a nine handed table.
The annoying part to me as well is they have removed all of the low/micro stakes cash tables on BOL. Lowest stakes being .50/1.00. I know fairly recently I have seen .05/.10 running there not sure when those were removed. So building up a bankroll to properly play at those stakes must be done in another format (sngs/MTTs) unless you deposit a significant amount.
Any ideas on the reasoning for these things? I don't like to be a conspiracy theorist when it comes to online poker, but when sites make dramatic changes for no real reason or if a site has an apparent cap on the level of play it keeps it makes you wonder why.
Thoughts and comments appreciated.
