I am getting ready for another trip to Thunder Valley Casino Resort with a work friend!
We were discussing about how to play pocket aces (AA).
Lets say we are playing $1/$2 No limit. We are playing with 9 people. I am under the gun. Everybody has $200.
I am dealt: Ad Ah
I raise to $15, the button calls. The button is a calling station, not a major one, but loose enough.
The flop is:
Ks 7h 2d
The I bet $20, I get raised to $45.
I think about it, and I fold, because I am either going to put him all-in or just fold.
I have gone all-in in the past before, and then they have shown two pair on many occasions!
I am asking about heads up play (vs one opponent):
is folding my AA the correct move in this situation?
should you fold AA (or top pair) vs a raise in general?
should you fold AA or top pair vs a raise when playing against calling stations most the time?
