Move to 6m ldo. I don't want to live in a world where we are sigh shoving turn bc everyone is so nitty that they have sets here like all the time.

For real, looks fine. Can't really x/c turn since we have <PSB left and much rather jam than just x/call off. I guess we can fold, but like, if were folding here, whats the point of flatting flop? Might as well set-mine and fold QQ then.

I may just take your advice. It seems like it's only a matter of time anyhow lol. Yeah I felt like my hands were kind of tied in this spot but I couldn't think of a better line so in it went haha.

All in all I've had an outstanding month and I've been on quite the heater. I only had five loosing days this entire month which is ridiculous. I feel good about how I played for the most part but I definitely fell off of my A game multiple times. Mostly from being tired. I'm feeling a bit burned out lately and I'm lacking in the motivation department but I'm going to try my best to power through it.

Sick ass heater man. I went on a 27BI upswing in two weeks, a 20 BI downswing in 3 days, and now a 9BI upswing in 2 days. God that downswing was awful. Withdrew $1k during this time too, so my bankroll is a little vulnerable right now at 30BI. Hopefully I can restabilize my BR and not have to move down.

Don't play when you're tired/on your B game!! I learned that the hard way. Dropped 14BI in one session, and tilt/tiredness made the downswing way worse than it should have been. I'm gonna say around 20-25% of it was from being tired/making bad plays and not being on my A-game.

Try taking a break if you're feeling burned out. It helps a ton. I took almost two months off, well unintentionally for the second month due to school stuff. And when I came back, it was all good.

You might want to play 6-max at 25NL and/or 50NL for some 10-30k hands before transitioning to it if you choose to do so. The dynamic is so different, and you might bleed some money/spew in spots if you aren't properly adjusted.

Awesome buddy I'm really pleased for you and it is great to see the hard work you have been putting into your game reaping reward. You have improved a lot in the last 6-8 months, really you have, to use John's phrase your game is much more polished, your thinking is better and it looks like you are making fewer big mistakes. Respect.
There isn't anything you can do about being on a heater. I've stopped looking at my expected EV line, it's useful to know in case of a downturn but ain't no point worrying about something you can't change.
I've been studying a bit more this month, reinforcing the things I know that I have to work on. It's important to keep expanding your knowledge and working on eliminating your weaknesses and implementing the odd new tactic. Inchworm

Thanks for the love you guys!

The swings can be brutal for sure but I try to offset them mentally. I promptly acknowledge mistakes and sloppy play when I'm hot and I try to be more forgiving when things aren't going my way so that I don't lose my mind lol. A break would be nice but I don't work. So I can't just take time off right now. I've got to grind on unless I want to go back to driving a fork truck. And I definitely don't want that lol.

Thanks for the kind words buddy. I'm not really that high above my EV line this month but I was on the good end of more than a few coolers, that's for sure. But you're right. It is irrelevant. Yup yup, still lots of hard work I need to be doing away from the tables. We should link up to review hands more often when you have the time.

Unfortunately I'm prone to depression and restlessness this time of the year. I'm just ready for winter to be over and to have some damn fun. But I know myself and I refuse to fall off of the wagon. Today is my off day so I'm just gonna take it easy then I'll be back at it tomorrow.

I'm probably not good enough to fold river tbh. Definitely can be some AK in here too as it's a relatively safe board to check/induce in a 4b pot.

But tbh, if were going to flat a 4b w/J10s, we kind of have to GII when we make a bd flush. Like, it's a pretty good spot for us.

**** FR, in 6m, this isn't even a decision lol. It's a snap call w/these stack sizes, practically a fist pump.

This player seemed solid. He hadn't been getting out of line though. I think AK is probably the bottom of his range when he 4bets for value. With the sizing it's hard to know if he's very strong or bluffing light but I lean toward strength. AK of diamonds would make sense but after I 3bet pre I don't think a reasonable player is trying to put in 134bb with tptk on that river, right?

I think if he flats pre and I bet flop and he calls. then I check turn and he c/r me on the river I GII. But with the 4bet pre I'm thinking he's going to have big pairs more often now. He could be turning AQ or 10 10-JJ into a bluff I guess. I have a hard time seeing even AA take this line so it's hard for me to imagine I'm winning here.

Lol, this is a little too nitty for ya eh? I don't make a habit of folding flushes but I just couldn't think of hands that I beat that he plays like this and he hadn't been bluffing or splashing around too much previously so I gave him credit.

knowing all that, I probably just fold pre tbh. If he's never 4betting w/o essentially QQ+, not really deep enough to flat 20 bbs pre imo.

F fr lol

River should be a call. You're beating a lot of his value range (KK/QQ). There's only one combo of AKdd, while there are 6 total of KK/QQ. Flop check with QQ makes sense, and so does KK. If he has AKdd, nice hand. Also, something I've noticed in my experience. A lot of players don't actually 4-bet AK, and rather flat with it OOP/IP. 4-bet ranges in my experience on Bovada 100NL Zone are AA/KK/half combos of AK/some spaz/very rarely QQ and JJ. And when they do 4-bet AK, they 4-bet rather large. Makes sense. I don't really want my 4-bet to get called when I have AK either.

Did you win 40BI over 28k hands in that graph? It looks a little blurry, but if you did, nice! That's a sick heater. I don't know how you have the patience for 4-tabling 9-max on Bovada haha.

I'm a little over halfway out of my downswing. Was down 20BI about 3 sessions ago, and now only down 9BI. Still running not so great :(. Feels really good to get out of this hole though. I really hope to restabilize my bankroll; currently at 30.5BI. Once I get to 50BI, I'm going to buy the HUD/HM2 with leftover money from my first withdrawal. Will be able to post hand histories on here, and I might join the Poker Polished study group :).

ty. It sucks to fold a flush but I'm pretty sure he had a boat because what you mentioned above about 4betting ranges I also find to be true.

Yes I did. I've indeed have been on a heater lately lol. It gets boring sometimes but I know I can win. I'm not as confident in 6max yet. I usually listen to podcasts so that I don't get too bored while I'm grinding because it is slow for sure.

I'm glad to hear you're on your way back up! I think that if you bought those programs now it would help you to get out faster though. Do it! Just critique other peoples hands if you can't post your own yet. You can add me on skype if you'd like as well, I'm always up for sweat sessions or HH review. My skype username is the same as my cc.

I broke this guy down with a series of 3bets and he ended up bluffing it off in the end.

It started with him 4betting me but I wasn't deterred.

Thanks. It's definitely fun to tilt other players. Winning the money makes it three times as fun though.

I set a new personal best today! I played 6 hours and won 8.2 BI surpasing my previous best of 7.5BI. I'm stoked and I might treat myself to the Mcgregor Diaz fight on PPV tomorrow.

It kicked off with this hand here.

I haven't had much to report lately. I've just been doing my thing. I'm trying to step up my hours from 35 to closer to 40 because I'm going to be on the move for the next few months and I want to compensate for the increase in my cost of living.

I've taken a beating so far today. It's the first time in a long while but I'm mostly ok with the spots. Lost boat vs boat, AKs vs AA twice and with AA vs quad 2's. I'm done with my first session of the day and down 3.4BI. I'm gonna make a little lunch and walk the dog then I'll be back at it. I'll possibly throw up some hands later.

Yeah that's as clear as you are ever going to see it.
You should send that hand to the site helpdesk They will be able to shut down the accounts via their ip addresses and stop them opening any further accounts from the same computers.
It at least inconveniences them for a while.

Yeah, I took a photo of the hand and table number and I'll be emailing them about it.

I've been getting beat up the past two days! Here are a few of the spots I've been in today.

I thought the lead here was strange from an A but with it checking through on the turn I don' think I'm ever folding the river.

I thought about raising the turn in this hand but I'd seen this guy donk with top pair and a weak kicker a couple rotations prior. So I planned to just call him down. His river bet looked like a missed flush draw so I stuck to the plan.

Of the three hands I dislike this one the most. I think that I should have called the turn or just folded on the flop.

I beat AA and bluffs. I have to fold the flush on the end right?
