That was a nice one, and obviously CO should not have raised his A9, and he should also have been able to get away, when two opponents had moved all in. A bad top pair is never in good shape in that kind of situation. Cant really blame the other two guys for stacking off their overpair and nut flushdraw though. For the guy with QQ this was just a really bad spot :)

Having that flush draw with A K and not eventually getting it, I bet really hurt. My favourite hand in poker is the flush and I learned to play like I don't believe it will come. Rarely you should take such a gamble like he did. He gambled and unfortunately he lost

Nice win here to save the day. I dont think I am just calling in this spot though when there is a bet and raise in front of me on a two suited flop. I much prefer raising here and setting up a turn shove or getting someone to tool out a bit and just jam on me on the flop. I know you got jammed on anyway but it would have been a more difficult spot for you if villain just called the flop. Then you may have tried to jam on the turn with no takers or a heart could have come which would have made things a little rough for you. I dont always raise sets on the flop but with a bettor and raiser in front of me I much prefer doing it on suited boards to charge the draws and not let them see a turn card and then be able to fold easier when they dont hit it.

Incredible madness. I would describe such a course of events in this way. However, this is a common occurrence in online poker. Still, you need to keep your composure and not lose your head. It is better to forget about emotions during the game.

WOW! Nice Session Saver!!!

Good for you for taking the money and getting out of there.

No sense to play on when things are going rough.

I used to fall into the trap of always trying to 'get even on the session'.
Until I took the mindset that it's all part of one giant session, and that the quality of my mindstate and play is what determines the profitability of that long super session.

Sounds like you already have that right mindset on you.

Good for you!!!

I was expecting that Q on the turn or river too :p

Like that spot where you're just infinitely tilted in a cash session... overplay a pair for 100 BB to get it all in preflop only to be up against a bigger pair

Only to FLOP A SET! And then have them turn the overset on you and you think "Yep... that's what I deserved for how I've been playing today... maybe I should've quit a little earlier :p"
