Zoom can be god if you are trying to work on GTO play, but otherwise regular cash is the way to go. By not knowing your opponents as well you leave gains on the table.
Absolutely agree with that. If you are already a winning player, you do however gain an advantage by being able to play more
hands per hours, especially during short sessions, since there is no waiting getting in and out of tabels. And maybe - just maybe - for some people this can compensate for a lower winrate.
In my personal opinion
poker sites should rake fast forward tables lower than regular tables. That would be fair, since people play more hands, and edges are lower. Many sites have taken steps in this direction already with tournaments by for instance raking turbo events lower than regular speed, so why not also do it with cash games. As it stands, fast forward poker is a little bit of a raketrap at least in the micros.
