Hi guys, I recently played cash games because I used to play only tournaments but now I only play cash games. I can't say that I win more than in tournaments, but at least I have free time. Do you think that cash games are the better option in this case?:bandit:

For me this is the good part of cash games, TIME, cause when you start a tournament I puke easily spend 4/6hrs on that.

I think that every player should choose what he likes best so that the game brings not only money, but also pleasure.

I suppose that all players should logically orient themselves towards the variant in which they feel most comfortable and most profitable from a financial point of view. you have to take the variant where you feel best and which best fits your schedule. It's always easier to do Cash Game or Sit & Go sessions than long MTT tournament sessions. but I think that the will to progress remains in the medium and long term the keystone for any player being led to wonder which variant to choose, whatever their objectives. because to progress, there has to be some fun in the chosen discipline.

If you're time restricted, cash games are superior. You don't want to get to a final table after 7 hours and have it on your mind that the tournament's taking so long.

Other variables that you might want to consider is that cash games have lower variance, deeper post-flop play, usually more regs, and they're more segregated in online rooms based on region.

If you want to learn poker, however, you should play both. Many pros remark on how playing one type made them better in the other, e.g. bencb has some cash game videos in which he remarks that cash games helped him be better post-flop in tournaments as well.

Cash games are a very steady way to build a bankroll as variance is lower than in MTT's and you can find fish a lot easier.

Cash games better for brake. But it doesn 't always turn out to stop in time. And winning turns into losing

Really, the style of play cash games is something tempting, but I have already lost many dollars in this style, precisely because it is something fast, people usually come in with not so good hands and bad ends up being more recurrent. In my opinion the tournaments are more regular and professional.

Indeed, there is a suitable variant for each style of player, some prefer something faster and even that style is the only option, however MTTs are more profitable in the long run, since at some point, if you maintain a standard of play suitable, you will make a great victory.

Bgodarya to answer you all really each player must play the game that best suits his style while still vsekk think should try participating in a major tournament for such a victory can completely change the lives of a certain poker player and it is the tournaments that I think make good money.

cash game of course takes much less time, you can leave at any time, you do not delay anything. I think the game is more difficult than the tournament, because you play 1vs1 (sometimes 1vs2) with your real money, and any mistake is the loss of your Bank... The tournament is a buy-in, and a good smart game, will give you more than a dozen attempts to win more, but not everyone can play 3-5 hours it's true... Cash game, it's more adrenaline, emotions, maybe you don't have enough of it?)) I choose the tournament :)

To play tournaments you need a lot of time for at least 4 to 6 hours, but it is more fun to my taste, cash game can remove all the banking

Cash game is very dangerous. You can waste all of your money. the real spirit of poker are the tournaments.

I hate the fact that in cash game splayers can sit out wheever they want , meaning when you start winning something more or even big money , they abandon the table at once , joining a new one or another pre-existing one . They hunt specific players very loose anf fish , sometimes playing only with position to them . Thabks god there is a lso zoom kind of poker games . In tournaments thye cannot escape , they have to play with you until they lose or the table breaks , that I like . Also tournaments might last more , giving the possibility to have more fun , notto say more winnings the deeper you go . So I vote for tournaments or satelites for tournaments with many guaranteed tickets :)

Timewise cash games are superior since tournaments are gonna take awhile. SNGs are kinda like a medium ground timewise. Personally I do prefer cash games since they allow you to be pretty patient for the most part and people aren't as maniacal in cash games.

If it's a reasonable tournament.

Cash games are fun, if you don't mind the pressure of having to win every hand.
If a tourney has a limit on entries, no re-buys, when you know it won't take forever, I prefer tourneys. I do better in scenarios where I can make a mistake early in tourney, hopefully, make it all back when the blinds go up.

Of course, the skill of tournament players is different from what you need at the cash tables. In a tournament, when you lose the stack, you fly out. Thus, you often have to make very difficult decisions with very little information.

With the same number of hours being rolled back, the cache player is much less likely to catch a minus or zero month.

Interesting question! From this point of view, the cache certainly looks more attractive! But I'm still for MTT, I like the long distance and the sweeter the prize at the end

Hello! Of course, if there is no free time, then the cache table is the best option, but for me not only time was a priority, but also unstable Internet (I use mobile communications), if I lose connection for the cache I don’t lose an unplayed bankroll, which you won’t do when I log into tournament, the last time at the cash-desk I have not gotten a game and I switched to tournaments, I have two reasons for this: communication has become stable and a lot of free time. Sincerely, Sergey.

Hi guys,
For me playing cash games is great when you havn't much time, only 1 or 2 hours. Tournament is great on the week-end. Generally in Mtts if you're playing +5h you're ITM.
