Obvious difference, but how does one approach a cash table with a tight player, but very aggressive betting?

I'm sure the average answer will be to leave, but it makes it tricky to protect a strong hand.

Why do some of you prefer cash games over tournaments?

I far prefer playing against that type of player at a cash table versus a tourney. I don't have to worry about my tournament life and can just take every hand in turn. If I know for sure that he's truly tight that makes my decision-making much easier. I'll play tight and aggressive too. If I win I win. If I lose, I'll either move on or I'll rebuy and give it another try.

Something else to keep in mind in cash games is game selection. Trying to find tables of players that fit your style to exploit them. I have found tournaments have much weaker player pools thats why I prefer them over cash games even though there is so much variance in tournaments but man when you score in one its the best feeling in the world

I prefer tournaments. I have a lot of difficulty with very aggressive players.
