Well players with experience recommend you to play the maximum of 1% of your bankroll per time. But we know that not all buy-ins have the same pattern, so you there is the ABI (Average Buy in) that is the sum of all buy-ins divided to quantity of all tournaments. So with you have have a 5k (5.000) bankroll your medium buy in are going to be $30/70 .

Say you have 100 to start your BR. You should only play say in tournaments that cost 2.00 at most so you have 50 some say even more like the above. So from what he said if you played in tourneys you'd only want to keep it to 1.00.

Yes, with a bankroll of 5 thousand, this is a good bet for playing 2-4 dollars but 1-2 dollars is also a normal rate, but you can play at such rates not only in hold'em but also Omaha is a good game and at such rates too, so I I think that with such a bankroll you can play in different types of poker and the main thing is to get more profit in the bankroll!

I play poker for about one year and usually I play in MTT tournaments. My limit for the month is $ 30. In my opinion, this is enough to accumulate experience and improve my skills on a daily basis.

I have had trouble with my bankroll when I'm not disciplined enough to stick to 5% of your total bankroll for a buyin. I go by the allowable stakes posted for that buyin on my poker site for cash games.

Where I started from, no one had ever lost a deposit and that rule, when kept, has made me a decent steady rate of return on the books. Jumping around made the whole idea of poker seem a little too "volatile" afterwards.

But, if I were playing you I'd just say go ahead and do whatever you like.

BRM is my biggest weakness at the moment so I'm in no position to offer suggestions! [emoji23]

Keeping buy in's below 5% is definitely wise!

The max buyin as function of bankroll assumes a winning player.
In case af a not winning player, bankroll will go down, so BRM will reduce the buy-in until zero. Play freerolls until becoming a winning player.

if you have a 5k bankroll, you shouldn't be playing 2/4 at any point. That is only 12.5 buyin's, and the chance of going busto is high.

You should be playing either 50c/$1 or at most 1/2

With such a bankroll, you should know what bets to play.
And so it's a good bet.

Hello.
I play poker for 8 months, so now I play only in freerolls. In fact, I have no financial expenses for the game. Every week, I manage to increase my bankroll due to freerolls. But I also believe that bankroll management is very important for a successful player.

I believe that you playing tournaments or cash does not matter, it is only nesario that has care and control, I usually play tournaments and if I have in my bank a balance of $ 50 I usually play tournaments of $ 0.50, I consider 100 BB to play due to size of my bank.

What is your win rate at this game? That’s more important. Once you establish a positive ROI at some level work out a BR game plan.

$2-4 cash game buy in is $400. That’s about twelve buy ins. 12.5. That seems slim to me. But if you are comfortable and confident with that who am I to say different. You can always drop down if needed. A few good sessions and 7-8k is feeling better. (20).

1-2 may be better. (25) plenty of $200 Buy ins to establish an idea of where you’re at. You can get stacked and rebuy with less than 10%. Risk of ruin is much farther off.

I think 5k for 2/4 NL hold'em is pretty low but if you are good, it can be enough. For 2/4 NL that's roughly only 12 buy-ins or so. I recommend more because even good players can get wiped out from variance. I personally think it's on the low scale for a bankroll for 2/4 NL but that's just my opinion from my own experience.

With a 5k bankroll, it’s advisable to have 40-50 buy-ins for cash games. I think that the optimal limit is 0.5$/ 1$.

The figure commonly accepted for a Multi Table Tournament player and never invest more than 1% of his Bankroll, which means that if you own 100 € of Bankroll, you only need to play MTT whose Buy-in exceeds 1 €. The players of Tournament Multi Table of limits more important even estimate that the Bankroll must be 150 to 200 times superior to the Buy-in played because the average level is much higher on this type of event.

You should be playing 1/2 or .5/1 IMHO

Only having 12.5 buy ins is kind of rough. Go to 1/2 and that increases to 25 buy ins which should be more than enough to allow you to take beats and still have ammo. If your very tight with your BRM than do .25/50 and you'll have 100 50$ buy ins at this limit.
