Hello play cash games recently playing it safe waiting win a nice pot with a strong hand and then get up from the table. Recently, however, I wonder whether they behave badly towards other players and if someone plays like me:confused: . What do you think this flawed strategy is it?

If i notice really tight players waiting for premium holdings that gives me a reason to exploit your style of play.

Depends on the players at the table, but I like to play more hands, suited connectors etc. But definitately fold garbage hands, even if I don't get any proper hands in quite some time.

Getting up and leaving after a nice pot is actually called "turtling" and is considered bad poker etiquette. Most people get pretty pissed off when they lose a big hand and no longer have an opportunity to win that back. Personally, I don't think it's a bad way to go if you're looking to profit. After all, you're not there for the other players, you're there for you. To avoid possible annoyance, maybe stick around for a while and play tight in small pots.

Hi
Like everyone I join a micro stakes to win a big hand but no!!!
PS doesn't allow me to win.
Not crying for bad beats but that's a norm for me.
Wonder why?

If by chance I double my buy in on a day, next day it's gone!

It's your money you can choose to play however you want :) Ive noticed so far on pokerstars that 2nl plays quite tight/passive. With a few bad agressive players but alot of nits tag's and passive fish. And 5nl on pokerstars seems very different it is jam packed with bad aggressive fish.

For me, playing for cash is a problem. I can not be in the plus. I try not to participate in it.

technically when one has more chips than his opponents on the table. it is that one has a benefit of depth of play on them. but better to get out of the table if you see that the variance is no longer on your side.

Big stack poker isn't relevant in cash games all that matters in cash games is the effective stack sizes.

I think this is a good strategy. I rarely play cash games, but if I play, I always try to wait for strong cards and take away a big pot. After that, I stop playing.

cash games are more different that any other game of texas, they have more tight players going for a run for your money, so playing it safe would be the best play.

I agree with you and try it. I really know that I not only play this way but eventually everyone decides how to play the tables. Eventually we play poker for money and that is's most important. Ultimately, even with a good hand can lose even more good and then not being able to play. This is also rising and then someone accused me in a bad label:D:D:D

really is because lately I see that a lot of players try out this approach. Recently, play table that has a lot of free players hoping to collect pots played good check raise with strong hands. I wonder if this is also a good strategy?

Poker with a big stack does not matter in cash games, all that matters in cash games is the effective stack size.
Yeah, that must be done if necessary to become a mass. This is a double-edged sword, which can be lost and almost always keeps:elefant:

I usually sit tight and wait for a strong holding. If I’m in late position on the button or cut off then I will play suited connectors or ace rag suited just to mix it up a bit and try to flop the nuts. It’s rare but does happen and you can take a nice pot as long as someone has a decent holding and is willing to call you down.

I don’t get up from the table after I win a nice pot. You can use it positively in your table image. If you win a few buyins I’ve noticed more people fold to my pre flop bet so I can scoop up more blinds. I keep playing until I feel the game has run its course and I go hand dead.

Don’t become loose after you have won a big pot just because you have extra money. You’ve got to stick to the game plan.

Because it is very bad etiquette, most casino's have a one hour rule before you can leave the table. Trust me, once people know you, you will not be allowed to play. We had a lady that was banned at our game because once she made enough for rent that month she would leave. In a casino she would fine as long as she stayed the hour, but I promise other players would make her time very miserable and possible go after her and you do not want the whole table against you. The thing at our house games, it was the same people, low stacks just out for a fun evening with a set time. No one over time lost a lot or won a lot. So she was asked not to come back.
