Choices are usually 6 or 9 players. 6 is a faster pace, 9 could make you more money over time.

I think it depends on your mood at the time. I don't think it matters much as far as competition. Stay within your range and you will be good on either one.

That depends on type of play you like.. if you like to play more hands wirlth wider range less players better game, if you like to play tight more players...

Hi adamla001. I usually play 8 or 9. For some reason 6 max is a little fast for me. Besides that, if I play some micro cash games at 6 max, there is very little $ going into the pot pre-flop. However, one or two levels up, that's not so. For example, at 10nl the pot may be 30c or less, whereas at 25nl, the pot would be like $1.50+ Anyway, GL to you

If you're newer to online poker, I think what size table you pick (and the number of players actually playing in the cash game) can help dictate your play. If you play at a full 9-person table, you'll be playing tighter since there's a more likely chance an opponent will have a better hand. If you play at a table with just a few players, your range opens up and you have to adjust accordingly.

Table Size

9-10 players play tight
6 or less play looser

Per Annie Duke in early pokerstars lessons.
