That's I agree with you but I think it's a good option for beginners.I think not. Why? Who plays virtual money? And who play for real money?
Think about it ... good players spend time playing virtual money? I do not think so.
When you lose $ 100 in the virtual poker money. What do you feel? better than when you lose $ 100 in real money poker. Is it the same?
When you play virtual poker money, this is just for fun, not for training.
nope. It's always a bad idea. There is no money to win, there is no money to lose so you actually don't play a poker. You can only learn the bad habits. It won't help you. It can make your game only worse.
And this is true because in fictional money, there is no adrenaline and pressure of cash games with real money.
Do you think that training with virtual money can make you better in cash games?
I believe that effective training is possible only if the game is going to be for real money. In my opinion, virtual money is more like non-alcoholic beer and does not bring any benefits.
it seems no one has ever played playmoney here, just milionaries in cardchat and I did not know

I have actually played a lot of play money poker, because I had family responsibility and did not want to risk losing money. It was partly a ideological thing, that I did not want to "gamble". However after starting playing at PokerStars, I really felt, I had wasted a ton of time.
The software was just so much better, and so was game quality, since play money had a lot of crazy short stackers, while at PokerStars at least you can not buy in for less than 40BB, and most players buy in for more. Maybe its ok to practice with play money for a week or two, but I certainly dont recommend spending a significant amount of time on it.
