Any read on the villain? If he's the kind of dummy to shove with a big hand when the other player seems weak, then he's easy money.

A shove there after you showed weakness would be retarded if he has a T. Wouldn't he wanna extract some value? If you had a K you probably would have bet the flop. So this looks like either a bluff or a mediocre hand with which he thinks he's ahead but knows he's vulnerable so he's making you pay to see the river.

If it's me, as played I would probably still fold and find a better spot to get him next time.

But I would not have checked twice and let him have the initiative. I would have bet at least the turn to avoid this kind of decision.
