I have played very loose in the past. I have not faired well in tournaments but in cash games it has not been horrible. I decided to try a tighter strategy. The only thing I'm worried about is the lack of hands I seem to play now. I definately dont want to be pinned as a nit, I'll never get any action. My tighter strategy is very strict. It has me playing 14- 16% of my hands on an average session. Is this to strict or is this right about where I need to be? This is for cash only as I am going to stay away from tournaments for a while until I see a steady climb in my bankroll instead of the more roller coaster ride that I have been on. Thanks alot!

I say just stick to the top 10 hands, and have them vary with position.
If your just starting out the tight strategy.
