When you put it that way yeahSo you lost $0.95 rather than losing only $0.40 to rake and seeing what the donk had.
oh I have the wrong chart. That rake table is for fixed limit games. Since the Villain went all in on the river, this must have been a no limit game, and then the rake is 5% with a max per hand of 3$. So calling to split the pot would indeed have resulted in a loss.
yeah 4 of a kind with an ace kickerI don't see the hand, but I'm assuming the board was showing the nuts?
Super Awesome thnx FunDiver:top:That rake table is for fixed limit games. Since the Villain went all in on the river, this must have been a no limit game, and then the rake is 5% with a max per hand of 3$. So calling to split the pot would indeed have resulted in a loss.
You had an interesting hand there, most likely it would have been split 50 50 after rake if you called, overall i would suggest dont let it affect your future game play, move on and focus on the future.
Do you do this specifically in overlay situations?some other sites rake even deeper , so I often shove strong starters pre flop to try to avoid any rake . in tiny PLO8 ring games the rake when the pot is split really kills you .
