Hi !
What hands should you 3bet with in Cashgame 6-max ?

I play NL25 and i gotta say that i have been in trycky spot often,
like the button raises 0,75 and i 3bet with AQ,AJs,A10s, to 2,25, and sometimes
he makes the call. What do i do now ?

1.Check
2.Cbet
3.Something else ?
I mean i have lost much money by cbeting and they call, i mean it feels like a float but then i have had no choice then to check/fold.
Maybe should i just call when he raises to 0,75 ?

Thanks for the help !

I almost never 3 bet with those hands, unless they are suited and i´m having good rush. After my 3 bet i mostly bet the pot size, or close to the pot no matter what cards that fell on the flop.

I often throws those hands away if they are unsuited, especially if i´m in early position and no body else have called in front of me.

If you are using a HUD, check his fold to 3bet stat. The more frequently he folds to a 3bet the wider you can raise him (beware his open raise % in his position). I like big PP, AK, AQ, ATs+ and if stacks are faiely deep and villiam is prone to fold add JTs+ and very rarely 45s+ Cbetting the flop seems pretty standard. Against the guy who never folds to 3bets you have a very strong range and are betting for value. Against the guy who almost never calls a 3bet you may check (he only continues with very strong hands), but against most players I would expect a 2/3 pot c bet to induce a fold >1/2 of the time.

Hi !

6mx should from start have wider 3 bet range since ppl have wider raising range. What you 3 bet will vary table to table, don't set yourself to an exact 3 bet range. Lots of raising should allow you to 3 bet with wider range tighter game less 3 bets.

On the flop I would call and see what happened on the turn, if he bets big on a blank then I can fold here either 3bet or just call when he raises.

^^ That doesn't make any sense to me at all lol

OP, what to do on the flop after 3betting and not hitting will depend on flop texture and villain tendencies. Maybe posting specific hand/s with info on villain would be more useful.
