Why did I play on a Friday! I was able to get 80$ free dollars with the casino and the free 5 dollar they gave two weeks ago. I was able to stay around that amount for the past two weeks. Last Friday I barely played. And yesterday (Friday) bad beats after bad beats killed me and put me back to 0$!
Here’s a list just to name a few. (I know, with my stack, I shouldn’t have played 8-16$ tables).
1-
hero - QQ pre flop.
Villain - 98 of hearts
We go all in (in a tournament)
Q2h3 Ah6h. Villain wins with the flush.
2-
Hero - 77
Villain - 10J hearts
Flop 7hAh8c we bet, raise and go all in. 13,73$
Turn 2h
River 4d. Villain wins with a flush.
3-
Hero - 5s5h
Villain - 9c10s
Flop 9s3s5d we bet, raise and go all in. 9,42$
Turn 8s
River 2s. Villain wins with a flush 10 high.
4-
Hero - QcAd
Villain - 6d5d
I bet, he raises I follow.
Flop 7c4s8c (how was I to know that he had that poor hand in my opinion!) I bet, he follows.
Turn Qs I raise, he goes all in, I follow. 37,28$.
Even the river couldn’t save me. I guess I should have raised much much higher preflop. Or hesitate much longer next time someone doubles on all in with a possible straight. I kind of go blind with those low grades straight when I have a good preflop hand.
5-
Hero - 10s7s
Villain - 7c7h
Flop 497, at this point I still don’t know he has 77. He micro bets, I follow.
Turn 9 check and check.
River 10. He bets, I raise, he goes all in, I follow. 15,43$. Why did I follow! Did I make a good call in following?
And a last one!! That one hurts so much!!!
6-
Hero - AcAs
Villain - Kh5h
He bets, I raise, he follows.
Flop 7d4h5c I bet high, he follows.
Turn Kc I bet, he goes all in, I follow. 66,32$.
River 9d.
Let’s all cry together for this losing hand!

Please help me figure out what I could have done better in these situations! Now I’m back to 0$ (Except not playing in tables 8-16$! That I figured that much!)

I play zoom cash and when going all-in, they give you the opportunity to take part of the pot depending on the strength of your cards, which I do, for example, I have AA and I go to olyn, someone calls and we are given a choice with aces, this is somewhere + - 80% take part of the bank or take a risk. I take 80% - it's better than nothing if you lose

Amount of flushes that had you beat is absolutely criminal.

Yes I do sometimes. I guess I’ll have to do it more often. However with that K5 bad beat I couldn’t cash in anything. I was already out.

This happens. There are days when you are unlucky, no matter what you do. You need to set a stop loss when you lose several buy-ins. Close the client and continue the next day. With a desire to recoup, you may end up on tilt without noticing it. Many times this happened.

Bankroll Management

Poker can be unpredictable. Just like weaker players can have winning streaks, good players can also win much more than their EV, or lose money, over a given period of time.
There are two primary factors influencing how large a bankroll you need to weather these swings: your edge, and the format you’re playing.

That's a very bad bankroll management bro, you shouldve only played 1/2 cent. and once you notice that you're already STEAMING its time to stop the session. and comeback maybe 2 days later to cool your steam

You are right. Once I get a streak of many loses, I kind of go into a rampage where I believe that I can make up for my losses and end up either falling on bad beats or just forget I may be facing something unexpected that I could breath in, think longer and fold. I’ll definitely try to do that next time.

thank you for the advise. I will definitely take a Better look at the course of becoming a winning poker player. It’s important to master the class and I’m still in the learning process.

You are totally right. I see the winning possibilities and forget about the losing possibilities with those large amount tables but in poker, it can go both ways and you can have bad beats all day or have your hands flip over and over in the same day. I’ll have to learn to stop when I face too many bad beats and also, play the right tables for the right stack.
