I should think that anyone who is even half-awake will have you down as a bluffer after that.

You probably already though of this, but the logical next step is to stop the bluffing, but follow the same pattern the first time you have a real hand. There`s an excellent chance that the other players will be convinced you`re at it again and will call, whereupon you can screw them again to complete the hat trick.

I was just playing around, but thanks for the advice. My next move normally, when I have time is to reload to maximum, inbetween hands, then go super-TAG, and wait for the nut hand to appear, either PF or with a board, then, as you say, bet it as previously, but try and get other person all-in on river

I've found that at micro tables, bluffing is perilous. I feel like I get called down by ace high a lot more than I would elsewhere. I don't profess to know why or if it's anything more than just my own small sample size, but that's my experience...

i guess i need a few reads b4 i attempt a bluff. then i wait for position, players i have reads on etc, then attempt one. i dont show them for the first few time, then i show a couple.
one other bit of advice, if the flop looks scary and the other guy(s) checks, put in a 3/4 pot size bluff, as that works a lot.

ok, i lost some hands, its not like i won every one. but it was a fun half hour(or therabouts) session, with 2 of them good players, and 3 of them fish.

I think the last hand, where your straight beat trip jacks, makes a great case study in implied odds. I don't know if you had the pot odds to call there, but the outcome as an example supports the idea that making loose calls in small pots can win you much bigger pots when you hit than you lose when you don't.

oh, i wasnt even thinking pot odds when i made that call. i figured he bet small on the flop and turn, so he might have the jack, but ceetainly not the JJ. yeah he might have got lucky with a full house, that was my risk. i wouldnt fold the straight on that board. thats the risk. it was an instinct call.

My number 1 rule when playing the .02/.04 is don't bluff.... The donks call you down with ace high.. So I wait on hands that are Gaurenteed wins.. And I almost always get paid out huge on them..

However if I notice another guy multitabling a bunch of .02/.04 and playing the same rock solid game that I am playing, I might bluff him every once and a while.

If someone sat down at my .02/.04.. and was half decent at poker, they could read my perfectly.. (Because I make it so obvious) But the donks still call my monster hands...

now you mention it, that sounds like it could be right, I never thought of it. I'm not a limit player, so wouldnt know how to play like that. but yeah, ive had calls all the way to the river when Ive had a hand, only for the other guy to reveal overcards against the board.

Either that, or maybe they've read limit books thinking that most of the concepts apply to no limit.

My limited (pun intended) experience with limit comes from trying the freerolls when the no limit wasn't scheduled until later. I found that sometimes they had a hard time chasing me out when I had overcards, especially if there were only 2 of us post flop because the other guy couldn't bet enough to get me to fold. I hit a full house on the river playing a suited QJ once because of that.

As I said, I found myself chasing just because I thought the pot odds were there and they couldn't bet enough to push me off. If you can put someone as a limit-thinking player, then that could be useful information. Or, they might just be your everyday, run of the mill donk.
