Dealing Flop Q♥ Q♦ 2♣ <--- Good flop for me... he's less likely to have paired the Queen than if there were only 1 Queen on the board. Plus is he had pocket pair, he would have raised pre-flop. Fairly sure I have the best hand now

VodkaMan raises to $6 <--- Clearly thinks I don't have the Queen or I would have slow-played it, now tries to represent
Bombjack calls $6
Dealing Turn 3♥

Did you ever think he has the Queen? I think he has medium pocket pair. I can't see your pair of twos being good. You certainly played aggressive but your opponent wasn't backing down. I porbably would have folded after the turn.

Only you can say for sure, because your plays should have been based on your read on him, which we cant second guess..

I put him on pocket 4's or Q 10 :)

The turn makes me think he is slow playing it, and he confirms it by taking leadership in the betting, as if he realizes, I have a live player here, I can now safely start betting my hand and getting calls..

pocket 4's or Q 10 :)

I would have been suspicious too, I wouldn't have thought he had the queen maybe Ace high or something like that. I probably would have called. but after the turn I would have gotten aggressive and reraised him. so what did he have??? did u win that hand or him.

Do you think pocket 4s would be played quite so aggressively, into an opponent who's raised, bet the flop, and called a raise?

Come to think of it, why are his bets so big?

It looks to me like he's bluffing...but generally when I'm in a marginal (at best) situation I'll make bets to see where I'm at, but if my opponent pushes back, then I have to rethink the situation (and possibly fold). Deuces just aren't strong enough to go to the river with here IMO.

Would he bet this if he had a 3?
I don't think you have to worry about the 3 (what hand would he check-raise the flop with that contained a 3? only 33, which is unlikely). My opinion is that he's either on a big bluff, or he's got the queen. Unless he's absolutely bonkers, he wouldn't get this aggressive with middle/low pocket pairs here. Check-raising a scary board with you opponent showing aggression is, well, scary.

I thought about moving all-in on the turn (raising and facing a big bluff didn't seem too appealing), but I'm only going to get called if he has the queen. I was fairly sure I had the best hand, so why not let him bluff off some more of his chips if he wants to? The only risk is he'll outdraw me, but he only has 6 outs (and I have 5). So the chances are he will not improve.

He's staked his claim to the hand on the flop, so there's no need to think the turn and river helped him.

Here's the hand in full:

Seat 2: VodkaMan - $80.98
Seat 3: Bombjack - $43.82

In fact this was the biggest pot I won all night! :) I wouldn't normally call someone down with a holding as weak as this, but the combination of the board cards, the pre-flop action, and his "don't call me" bets convinced me I had the best hand.
