Ugly spot here.

For one, I bet more on the turn - we have to bet at least $8 here. I mean for all we know he could have A5 and be thinking he's value raising here.

Anyways as played, as weak as it sounds, I'm usually calling this and check-calling a non-diamond river unless he puts in a huge river bet. There are plenty of hands we're still ahead of at this point.

what do you think about my turn bet
I think the turn bet was on the weak side, as it wasn't even half the pot. I'd lead for 9$ there, for what its worth. A very aggressive opponent may have picked up on your weakness & raised you.
and what should i do after he raises ???
Call wicked fast. Its just a min-raise to what you should have bet in the first place. Snap call this, and check/call any sane river bet. The only time I think you can fold this is if another diamond, or an ace hits on the riv.

He either has AQ, or made his flush on the turn. Call the reraise, check the river, call any value bet, fold if their is an A, Q or another diamond.

i thought the turn bet was very weak too. what were u trying to accomplish by that bet? defensive bet?

it's interesting that he only minraised. it could be that he has a flush and it's a value raise. what did he minraise with before, in the session?

i'd check/call on the turn and river. if he bets huge on the river, u have to know ur opponent and think back to the times when he bet huge with the nuts. if there's none, then he has air.

A lot of players will see this weak bet and instaraise regardless of their hand, representing the flush. We obv aren't folding this being such a small raise and c/c riv imo unless its a diamond/A/Q
