Royalgramma is a real moron playing virtually every hand, limping or betting 93% of the time over 40 minutes. The rest of the time he checked from the BB. In addition to this he has been vulgar and insulting to anyone he beats. Amazingly, he has gone from $10 to over $70 with some sickening suckouts. Here's one where I was the victim.

Any ten, any ace, any king has you beat. Easy Fold to me.

i think youre wrong by focusing on getting something back from him.

Thats how these kinds of players make money a lot of times. Happens 2 me. Getting irritated by him will make you do foolish things and convince yourself that he just doesnt have anything and that will lead you 2 make bad decisions.

I mean that last hand is a pretty easy fold.

To his credit, the first hand you posted wasnt really a bad play by him per se.

Its not like hes raising and calling allins with nothing. he had a pp and prob put you on a high ace.

And with the board of 2nd hand, its very likely he has you beat. Just because he sucked out doesnt mean he cant get delt aces and tens

Gotta fold this IMO. His bet definitely doesn't look like it wants to get called, but there's just SOOO much out there that can beat you. Any king, ace, flush, ten, Q7+, two pair....

I just fold it and wait for a better spot.

And of course, yes, that first hand was terrible. Gotta love that limp, then reraise when someone 'challenges' you with a raise. Almost always middle/low pair :)

Four Dogs calls $2

Here is where you should have folded, the pot is tiny... And the guy is a known donk, but donk's can get hands sometimes too don't forget.. Wait for a better hand to stack him.

Yes.

how does going all in with a pocket pair in any way tell you or lead you to think hes such a maniac that you should call the 2nd hand?
Well, of course it doesn't. I'd have to be nuts to call. Especially considering that he MUST be well aware that everyone at the table is itching to take him to the bank, he would have to be the KING of donks to think he could get away with a bluff here. No way I'm paying this retard off.

4D - sounds like he's managed to get you on tilt to the point where you're making terrible decisions.

In the original post, bet the flop - although a check isn't terrible with no kicker - but easy fold to the overbet on the turn. And I don't know why you're even thinking about calling on the river. Why would you call all-in with 3rd pair, no kicker, 4 to a straight, and a flush on the board? You barely beat ATC.

In the last post above, you've got no hand at all - another easy fold. It looks like he's overbetting so much, all you need to do is to wait till you get a hand.

The way he has built up his stack is not by playing good poker, it's by playing badly and tilting people, turning them into calling stations, and you're just falling into his trap.

Well you're right Bombjack, I kinda am getting a little steamed, but up to this point, I don't think I've made a bad decision. In the first hand I got all my chips in with the best hand preflop, and lost to a set. In the second hand, I did in fact fold, to a rediculus bluff, for all the reasons you mentioned above. Now, the final hand. You have a pair. You're up against a donk that plays 100% of his hands and raises 100% of the time he's checked to, and his calling range indicates that he doesn't need anything more than 2 suited cards to call an all-in. Is folding really that easy a decision?

It's a pretty easy decision, because you really don't have a hand, and you can easily wait until you do have one. You've invested nothing in this hand so far, and because he's playing ATC it's entirely possible he has a 7 or a 4 or a higher pocket pair. If you flopped top pair, you should check-raise him. If you really want to play this hand, re-raise pot (to about $7 total) - don't be a calling station - although the right play is to just bin it and wait till you get a real hand.

You also want to be playing pots with position against this guy. The blinds are the toughest places from which to play a pot, so just wait a couple of hands until you do have position, and it'll be a lot easier.
