Did I bet too much on the flop? There was no draws on the board so I know I really didn't have to scare anyone off, but I thought since I had 2 people call 8 dollars PF I would get at least one caller. Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!

Looks ok to me. You gotta figure two PF reraise callers might have something to work with.

Seems reasonable to me, and it's probably not a bad result all things considered. Checking and potentially giving your opponents another card to improve could be dangerous - what do you do if an ace comes on the turn?

if an ace comes on the turn I scream and close my eyes and pray he doesnt have an ace....

as for how you played the hand, you played it just fine, nothing wrong with taking down the pot, on the flop instead of slow playing KK OOP....

nice play

I would have raised to $12 pre-flop. Raising only to $8 gives too good odds to your opponents and encourages a multiway pot, which you don't want.

I agree with ajrenni totally, if you make it $12, then not only does it make your opponents pay to see the flop, but hopefully gets it heads up, and then a $12 bet on the flop will look much more like a continuation bet and might induce a pair to call you...

Um, the $12 bet on the flop did look like a c-bet.
