Interesting hand. I'd say he massively underplayed them. Out of curiosity, what would you have been prepared to call on the flop to continue?

How would you rate Villain as a player, I mean is he a reg or are these the first hands you've played against him? I'm just trying to get a feel for how some of the guys at higher limits play.

Just edited, the stats at the top pretty much answer my second question.

higher limits = lower limits in that there are a lot of bad people. but technically im at "medium limits". another example of online 1/2.

just gotta know who's taking a stab under rolled and pick on them. those with correct rolls you want position on.

2 reads:
doesnt make drawing hands pay (obviously)
and that he over commits to hands.

joos,

seems like the perfect guy to bet to in that case to build the pot

are you sure? if he lets me get there for free and stacks off anyway, why not take advantage of that?

joos,

because he had AA this time, but he's not going to have such a big hand every time. So I would bet the flop (and remeber we're 50/50 with any non-set hand anyway here) so that the times he has A2 or something and we hit, we can still stack him, which won't happen if the pot is only like $20 going into the river

he had been over committing to hands.. i like my hand here but i didnt think i had the best hand at the time, so i thought i would get there for free and then stack him. if i thought i would have a problem extracting chips with a made hand i wouldve built the pot more..

he really stacks of for $200 in a $20 pot with 1 pair on a 3 flush board? And why do you think you're not ahead given all he has done preflop is limp/call?

well here was my mindset.

either;

he has nothing & giving him a card that will potentially catch him up to a 2nd best isnt bad. personally i think people play combo draws too fast and telegraph them, so this was also an experiment in something ive been doing recently to disguise my combo draws.

he has ak/aq or a set i just took a free card to my flush. i feel by checking here i disguise my hand (i sometimes check behind with tptk against passive opponents, though not on such a coordinated board)
