Why are you trying to bluff into 3 other people at a .15/.25 table? The flop is an easy check-fold.

If the flop gets checked around you can lead the Qc turn and get away quite cheaply if raised.

On another note, the guy with K6 = awesome.

preflop was fine, but i don't get the flop bet
betting a gutshot?
i check here and see what happens, and fold if someone bets more than is worth calling.
Putting that aside, calling turn + river isn't a bad play with top pair

I've got a double gutshot straightdraw with 2 overcards, so I wouldn't consider it a bluff. But you might still be right about the check/fold.

oh yeah, double belly buster...didn't notice that.
Makes the bet more understandable but you still only have 6 pure outs.
Qs could make JT the straight, and 10 would make a straight for anyone with a 7.
Also the flush possibility is a downer for your draw, and unluckily villain hit it.
I think i agree with your play, actually Os. I might lead that out too, but in EP i might check
i could go either way

I'll keep mine simple:
  • Raise PF to $1 to cleanse the limpers while you have position (.75 never seems to be enough), but checking was OK.
  • Now you are out of position, so check the double-gutter on the flop. Call a small bet but fold a large one.
  • Big fold on the turn with the flush on board that could counterfeit your top pair, but if not...
  • Bigger fold on the river with a flushed & paired board.

The river is an easy fold in my opinion, I mean trip 8's is a HUGE possibility as many many people chase their middle pair for trips or 2 pair, so you have to assume that someone had it. Also, with 3 clubs, you have to realize the possiblity of a flush draw.
