Mark G is semi-LAG without being donkish. He's been caught bluffing, but has had the nuts, too. His stack has fluctuated noticably. Angelynn is semi-passive and started with less than $2.

When I would raise my good hands to 20c pre-flop, I'd still get tons of callers. So I started doing 36c. I called the re-raise because, with Angelynn in, I was getting almost 5-1 on my money.

I know I was playing in "donksville" 2c/4c, but I'm curious of my next move. Anyone could catch a hand. I had a very tight image, so maybe he was bluffing me on the flop. Donks usually overbet a bluff like this. Plus he had someone else almost all in behind him. Any thoughts?

(Stay tuned. The results are surprising!)

I'm gonna guess that they were seeing your 36c raises as attempts to steal, either that or they were getting frustrated at actually having to fold hands when they want to be limping in & seeing every flop :)

With Mark G being a bit LAG he could have almost anything here, has he seen that you've had good hands raising like this? I think he's either testing the water & seeing just how confident you are of your hand, or he's got a hand that he feels is good enough (hopefully TT+, AT+, KJ+, but you never know).

Angelynn obviously feels it's time to take a stand, again hopefully she's got something, but with pot odds her range has to be wider than Mark.

Ordinarily I'd be folding AKo by now but for $1 I'd be tempted to stick it out & see what they've got. I doubt you're up against trips, so any A or K should win it for you. If you think Mark G will fold at any point you've also got a chance of breaking even even if angelynn does have you beat.

Donks usually overbet a bluff like this.

I disagree. From my experience donks will often bet like this when they have something very marginal, but they have at least something, even if it is 22 or 33 in the hole.

You have Ace-high, you can't call the flop bet. If he's bluffing, more power to him, make a note and remember it when you actually have some sort of hand you can play back with.

Did you consider pushing pre-flop? Unlikely to be worse than a coinflip, + fold equity.

Prob fold the flop though. I'd sometimes call here in position, because he's more likely to check the Turn if he has nothing, but probably not out of position. If he has say QQ, you still have around 28% equity with 2 overcards and a backdoor flush, so with nearly 3:1 on a call it's not bad value.

with a min-re-raise and he bet less than 1/2 the pot after the flop you can bet he has a small-medium pocket pair. He may have AK as well, but less likely. If he had higher than pocket 10s he would have pushed.

Since I don't have a dog who needs a name, I guess 4 responses will have to do.

Here's the results. Can you believe 3 AK's and I folded mine? Does it matter that their's were suited and mine weren't?

Hilarious!

I'm late to the party but let me give it a shot. I like the pre-flop raise, especially if that results in a 3-way pot, as you're getting great equity from a table like that. That you need to raise close to 10x the BB to scare away even most of the table is scary though.

Ok... so the flop looks ugly, but not that ugly. You still have 2 overcards, though no flush and limited straight potential. Villain bets $1 and you're offered 3:1 odds to make your the call, but there could be more to come on the turn and river.

Personally, if it's me, my instinct at a micro table is that villain is betting a flush draw. I find that newer players tend to push with flush draws, which I guess is the ultimate semi-bluff. If that's so, you're probably winning since a pair is unlikely, and you're getting the odds you need to continue. If it's anything else, you have as many as 6 outs (~12% on the turn), which is too few to call this bet.

Based on what you've said, I don't think I could ascribe probabilities on these situations that would lead to a call. I believe I'd have folded this one.
