I am almost pot committed at this point, I was going to call if he shoves. I always know he might try to chase me away with a bet in the river but this time i was determined to lose my money and go with Top pair so far.

River :Ad: Villain shoves the remaining around $40, I didn't think , I was confident his AK, AQ hands are not good and straight draw missed and i called Villain Show :As: :Tc:

Yeah of course this is a standard call.
Villain is shoving 40$ into 180$
You should never fold 2 pair for that price.

Calling a 20x bb raise with AJo is probably not the path to greatness.

Right from the start, calling 20 big blinds with AJ is not good.

I don't like your calling preflop with AJo. According to flopzilla your equity vs the hand range you put him on is about 50/50. Even if he's loose and making maniac raises preflop i like waiting for a better hand before calling him.

I think your flop bet was good. He's hitting middle pair or better about 60% of the time so your bet should be profitable in the long run even just as a c-bet and ignoring the value of your hand.

I think your turn bet is marginal. If you eliminate some of his range when he continues on the flop(weak aces and low pocket pairs), you see that he is beating you about 60% of the time. Your bet for value is therefore not good. As a double barrel it is about break even if you assume he's folding middle pair and lower. He's continuing about 75% of the time and you need your bet to work about 33% of the time to be profitable.

Your river call seems obviously good. He's only beating you 25% of the time and the way he played the hand makes this percentage much lower (he'd have to be slow playing the whole time).

If anyone sees a mistake in my analysis please point it out, I haven't analyzed many hands.

Its difficult to analyse a hand like this, because 20 BB open raises are obviously anything but standard. But I assume, this must be a very soft game, and therefore when I flop TPTK I am pretty much going to be in stack off mode right from the get-go.

On the turn there was 90 in the pot and 85 behind, so you had less than a pot sized bet left, which makes it kind of awkward to turn it into a 3 street hand. Therefore on such a relatively harmless card I would probably just ship the rest in on the turn and be done. Might have cost you some money in this particular situation, but you have no headache on the river, if some kind of draw complete.
