This hand just baffled me. Villain was 49/2/0 over 50 hands. Do you think it's fair to assume I have the best hand on every street. When he kept min-bet calling I was worried about a 2 but the vast majority of his range imo was 8x and medium PP's.

I think it is indeed fair to assume that you are ahead but since he is passive, he's betting means he has something. A8? K8? Q8? J8? Did you have anything about him slowplaying KK+? I've seen a lot of loose passives no re-raising big hands.

Given his range I think you are only beat by KK+, 88 and 2x which are the least likely after the 2 on the turn.

If I was in your shoes I'd think I was ahead mostly because I don't believe that players like this make any effort to put you on any hand and just play theirs. I bet that he would happily bet with 8x or even Ax, but hey... who knows?
