hello all, here's following hand:
BTN is 33/28 after 33 hands no more info

$0.02/$0.05 No Limit Holdem
5 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by WeakTight Poker Hand History Converter

Stacks:
UTG ($106.8BB) 107bb
CO Hero ($101.4BB) 101bb
BTN ($137.2BB) 137bb
SB ($70.6BB) 71bb
BB ($233.6BB) 234bb

Pre-Flop: (1.4BB, 5 players) Hero is CO J J
1 fold, Hero raises to 3BB, BTN raises to 5BB, 2 folds, Hero calls 2BB
Flop: 5 2 10 ($11.4BB, 2 players)

Hero checks, BTN bets 8.2BB, Hero calls 8.2BB

Turn: 7 ($27.8BB, 2)
Hero checks, BTN bets 20BB, Hero folds
Final Pot: $47.8BB

My questions are:
Preflop:
What do you do against that kind of min-raise? Do you see it as a strength or rather weakness/maybe even missclick?

I guess that if JJ is propably not strong enough to 4-bet/call shove is it worth 4-betting here?
Postflop:
I think I can call a flop having good equity but on the turn he bombs it again so I can expect him to be shoving river often?

Thanks

I don't know what to make of min 3-bets pre-flop. It's either strenght or missclick and more than likely strength.

I hate turning JJ into a set-mine but essentially that is what we have to do.

Calling the flop is good as most villains will slow down on missed hands like AK after you call.

Once the villain fires on the turn again I'm folding.

I like the line you took and would play the same. I wonder if we could 4-bet/fold pre-flop and be better served that way? A 5-bet would have to be AA, KK or QQ like always.

This is way way too nitty for me.
V's playing loose even though very small sample. The min 3b is bs.
Never folding turn & probably wouldn't fold river as well as played although I prefer check jamming turn.
I'm 4betting pre & bet flop jam turn probably.

If I had more info/hand history about the V I might change my strats.

Total no sense to 4bet/fold jacks. Just call to 3bet, even vs min 3bets without information. He played this hand pretty well. On these stakes players are able to do min 3 bets even with total trash from time to time.

Flop we have to call. Turn he bets again and as hero I expect just too many shoves on river from his his overpairs unfortunatly. So Im ok with fold.

one line you can take against unknown is min 4bet preflop, if villain 5bet large, then you know you are behind 100% and fold preflop.

or as played you can just call to set mine

Min 3bet like this is usually KK+, based on my NL2 experience

i like to 4 bet those min rases if he raises i fold if he calls i take the lead on the hand and go from there. just calling is like a set mine with JJ witch is not profitable going like that looks more like u where looking for reasons to fold(an over card).

what hands 3-bet? a loser or player? Potentially both.
I'm concerned, J/J against a solid 3bet is suspicious.
Minimally speaking, it probably is a 50/50 race. Unless it's against a short stack in position.

Min raise can be anything, seen it done with A8o, a7s, kqo etc.
I think we need to call here and hope an overcard doesn't come on the river.

Not many hands on the button, but it looks like he may end up being an aggromonkey from stats so far.

And versus him, and players like him, I would probably check/shove the turn.
