So, I'm really frustrated about my latest cash game results because I'm constantly losing with really great Cards against other monster hands.
I really feel that poker is all about luck because I can't see a way to avoid not loosing to much in these pots.
Two examples : Both times a 6-max Cash with a Buy-in of 5$.
First Hand :
My Hole Cards : QdQc
I open with a 0.15$ raise on the button.
The small blind raises to 0.45$ and I Call. Everyone else folded.
Flop: 6c7cQh
Villain: bets 0.75$ and I raise to 1.5$
he calls
Turn : 6c7cQh 5c
Villain checks
I bet 1.15$
He raises to 3.20$ and I Call
River : 6c 7c Qh 5c 10c
Villain bets 0.75$ and is All-In
I Call.
He shows As Ac
Was this bad play or just bad luck ? I mean I could have folded on the Turn because he could have a Straight or a Flush but I just didn't want to fold my Set. On the river I had a Queen High Flush myself.
