Here are a few hands played at ignition $5 NL Zone poker. So never any personal reads. The first hand I folded, the second I didn't.

I play mostly based on position and the population tendencies as a whole. These players are highly likely to make all in shoves like this with the following hands: ANY overpair on a low board. ANY open ended straight draw or high flush draw with overs. ANY two pair or set on flop. And there are also a smaller but not insnificant time players will shove all in with some kind of top pair hand on wet boards trying to chase off draws.

I look at my equity in most of these situations, and the fact that I seem to have pretty skill vs anonymous players picking when I'm ahead vs behind in these spots and I try not to be too sticky and fold unless I really like what I'm holding. I just don't know a better way to play these spots than to fold unless I'm already setted or holding something like AK suited with two overs a flush draw/straight draw

Hand 1 is a fist-pump-hell-yeah call. You describe these villains as capable of jamming just about any holding. If he is ever going to have A9, 54, TT, JJ etc we have to call this. If he shows us a set, 2 pair, we still have outs and we can feel comfortable knowing that, yeah, we didnt win but we made the right play.

Hand 2, i don't like to be calling 3-bets with A6. It is the worst ace in the deck. Worse even than A2, i fold this pre. On the flop we are getting terrible pot odds, i think i can put this one down.

Hand 3, same kinda thing we can only call if we put v on a straight draw or Top pair hands. Not getting odds at all.

Thanks for taking the time to analysis my hands. I had a feeling I probably played the suited ace hands like I should have the Queens and the Queens like I should have the suited ace hands.

I'm definitely once bitten-twice shy when it comes to getting set-mined on these Zone tables, it "feels" like it happens all the god damn time here. But they will stack off like that with tens and jacks a bunch too, hell even pocket 9s with a gutshot.

With the AK suited hand its really just me letting my anger and fear that if I don't play back I'll get bullied away for my whole bank roll. I knew I was more than likey way ahead preflop and why can't he just raise me like a normal human being not a psychotic idiot off his meds. I mean why would you even do a play like that? ANY set, any higher pocket pair, you're screwed.

But you're right, I'm not getting the odds to call with the equity I have. Another thing that trips me up is it feels almost "safer" to stack off with AKs on a board like that than with Queens, even though the queens are ahead, in case he flopped two pair or a set. Because I've got so many more outs.

Dunno you read every hand right, at least the ones you posted :D If it's standard to get AI action from second pairs, I think gii is somewhat given with Ax flush draws. However if they give you action After you make your hand, passive lines should be more profitable.

I'm for sure calling off in the queens hand. The issue is that the board isn't even THAT wet so I feel like a more vulnerable hand like top pair is MUCH more likely than a two pair+ hand. Plus TT and JJ are actually MORE common imo than some of the other options based on this player cold calling the 3bet preflop.

He MIGHT have 99 once in a blue moon, but I think even 88 is more likely.

Second hand, we need something like 38% equity here. Given we only have that in some of the better case scenarios, and much worse than that in some of the worse scenarios, this is pretty close and comes down to just how wide he's jamming here. I don't really fault either decision, and I lean very slightly toward calling, hoping villain can have some bare worse flush draws.

Third hand I'm definitely calling since sometimes the A and even the K might be live here.

Hand 1 QQ:
This is a call for sure. You win from JJ and TT and if he can have 78 he can also have T9, 98 which he can do this with so your ahead more then 50% of the time here. (AA and KK could have been 4 bet by him so they are less likely then JJ and TT).

Hand 2 A6:
Fold A6 against a three bet the SPR of 4 is just way to low.
Would not bet out A6 but as you did the SPR becomes so low that it is an obvious call.

Hand 3 AK:
Given the small SPR here I def would call the all in move if villain is capable of making this play with JJ, QQ, KK I guess that you have sufficient odds to call.
Against 99+ you have 43% equity.
Even against KK+ you have 43% equity and against AA still 38% equity.
