Rare that I get to showdown with unimproved AK, even rarer all in, but it felt ok here.
Pre: 3 bet large, both utg and hj were weak passive fish. Villain in button aggressive and loose over a small sample.
Flop: I think flop misses both our ranges. I think he'll call most c bets being so loose, and I hope to get through to the turn for free by checking. Of course he bets, so maybe a smallish bet would have been ok here instead? Anyway I call because I think agro fish is bluffing here with air a ton.
Turn: Pick up the flush draw and the board still doesnt scare me. Any A, K or diamond gives me the best hand nearly always vs this villain's 3 bet calling range. I did the math before the call, 25% odds to call and I was 30% to improve to a nuttish hand, ignoring a few very unlikely villain holdings. I am never doing this vs a reg, especially a nit, but here I actually believe I am ahead of lots of junky unpaired broadway hole cards and some AXs... so I called.
I'm happy making this read of a specific player type and accepting sometimes I'm beat. How about you... do you fold here or call?
